Flat with unparalleled views in the South of France and a superb swimming pool

Nambawan was completed in 1999 when the owners came to live here permanently. The flat is part of the main house although completely independent. There is under floor heating as the region can be chilly at night between November and April. WIFi connection is available throughout the flat.

The accommodation consists of a comfortable sitting room with English and French TV, a large double bedroom, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The ample modern kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker (gas and electric), three way oven( microwave/oven and grill), toaster, food processor and dishwasher. A washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board complete the set of household appliances.

The bedroom is equipped with two large single beds, which can be pushed together to become a Kingsize bed. Two bedside tables with reading lights provided and there is ample storing and hanging space. The view from the bedroom window is spectacular.

The bathroom is fully equipped with bath tub, shower, basin and WC.

From the sitting room a large French window opens on to the terrace, lawn and barbeque area. Guests have unlimited access to the swimming pool.

The flat is handed over immaculately cleaned. Bedlinen and towels are provided. For lets over a week, a special cleaning/maid service can be arranged upon request. There is enough linen available for guests to change it if and when desired. Saturday is not the compulsory arrival day. Alternative arrival and departure days can be arranged by mutual agreement.

The flat like the whole Nambawan house are designed for easy living and serve as a great base for exploring Provence and the Côte d’Azur. More than just a holiday flat or villa this is a proper home with all modern amenities and comfort.
The village of Seillans is 30 minutes from Cannes and Grasse and about 55 from Nice/Cote d'Azur airport. Golf, gliding, sailing and hillwalking are available nearby and there is easy access to skiing. This just means that whatever your interests are or what you are looking for you can have it all at Nambawan, whatever the season.
Just outside the village lies the beautiful Roman chapel of Notre Dame des Ormeaux, with its superb Renaissance altar-piece. The next village, Fayence, is home to one of the better known gliding clubs in Europe. Lake St. Cassien, 15 minutes away, offers excellent swimming, wind surfing etc. Easy day trips can be made to all the well known places and beaches along the Riviera: St. Tropez, St. Raphael, Antibes, Cannes,Nice, Monaco, les Gorges du Verdon etc. There are public tennis courts in the village. There are also some beautiful walks in the area and the skiing slopes of Greolieres, Isola and Val de l’Alos are easily accessible.

There are plenty of day trips to visit interesting places/sites in the region and a list of suggestions can be provided upon request.

Un séjour inoubliable dans une charmante maison.
Superbe semaine à Nambawan. Merci à Coco et David pour leur accueil chaleureux. Magnifique vue et sublime piscine dont nous avons malheureusement pas beaucoup profitée à cause des températures trop basses. Depuis la chambre également vue sublime. L'emplacement parfait à proximité des commerces tout en étant suffisamment éloigné pour profiter d'un cadre paisible. Les promenades dans les environs étaient un régal avec de beaux paysages à explorer. Maison spacieuse est bien équipée, ce qui en fait un véritable chez soi . Nous avons apprécié la terrasse pour nos repas et moments de détente.. Nous recommandons vivement cette location à quiconque souhaite passer de bonnes vacances reposantes et ressourçantes. Great place, marvellous views
We had a great time. Coco and David are very warm, friendly, and helpfull. Lots of space but also some recommendations. For eample, there should be an oven but we did not see one (only a microwave without an oven function), the sofa in the living room needs replacing (it's sagging) and the bed was on the hard side as the mattrass is placed on a solid wooden base instead of a slatted base or spiral underneath. Other than that, the house is fully equipped, albeit a bit dated but all functional, good Wifi and parking space. Perhaps woth noting is that the outside area for guests is at the back of the house, so there are no city views of Seillans from there. For that, one needs to sit in the pool area from where these views are stunning. All in all, highly recommended.

Wunderbare Ferienwohnung bei supernetten Vermietern
Eine sehr schön gelegene Ferienwohnung, die mit allem ausgestattet ist, was man braucht. Tolle Aussicht vom Pool und vom Schlafzimmer auf Seillans und das ganze Tal. Auf der Terrasse im nach hinten gelegenen Gartenanteil kann man mit Blick auf den mediterranen Garten frühstücken oder bei einem Buch entspannen, bevor es wieder zu einer der zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten geht. Egal ob es sich um Städte der Cote d'Azur wie St. Tropez, Nizza oder Cannes handelt, Monaco, die Parfümstadt Grasse, der Badesee St. Cassien oder die atemberaubende Verdon-Schlucht, alles ist problemlos in Tagesausflügen zu machen und trotzdem ist man weg vom hektischen Trubel der Küste und hat zwischenzeitlich am herrlichen Pool wunderbar Ruhe. Das letzte Stückchen der Auffahrt zum Haus ist einspurig, aber problemlos machbar. Gute Restaurants und einen kleinen Supermarkt mit allem, was man braucht, erreicht man mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten. Unschlagbar sind die beiden Inhaber Coco und David, die super freundlich und hilfsbereit waren, ohne sich jemals aufzudrängen. Dass beide Englisch sprechen hat uns mit unseren geringen Französischkenntnissen die Kommunikation sehr erleichtert. Ein ganz großes Danke nochmal an die beiden für die schöne Zeit im Nambawan!

Très agréable, nous recommandons
Nous avons adoré notre séjour et le recommandons vivement ! La localisation de l'appartement est un point de départ parfait pour visiter la région.(lacs, gorges, randonnées, promenades, plages , villages magnifiques, musées, ateliers d'artistes, restaurants ,...)L'appartement en lui-même est super équipé et ne manque de rien. Les vues sont à couper le souffle peu importe l'endroit où l'on se trouve dans la propriété, j'ai adoré la vue sur le paysage qu'offre la piscine à débordement également,surtout en fin d'après midi, l'ambiance solaire y est si douce. David et Coco sont des hôtes adorables et ne manquerons pas de vous conseiller efficacement sur les environs et et les évènements a ne pas manquer durant votre séjour. Magnifique séjour
Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour chez David et Coco au cœur de la Provence. Le logement est très charmant et rappelle l’authenticité de la région. Les propriétaires de la maison sont très gentils, pleins de bons conseils, la communication est très facile. L’emplacement permet à la fois de visiter les grandes villes de la Côte d’Azur comme Frejus, Cannes, Saint Tropez, Nice ou encore Saint Raphaël, mais aussi de parcourir les gorges du Verdon et les lacs qui s’y trouvent. La piscine offre une vue imprenable sur les montagnes. Merci encore pour ce séjour.

Séjour parfait et très agréable, au calme, avec espace ombragé car nous avons eu un temps estival au mois de mai 34 degrés.Piscine à débordement avec très belle vue, sans vis à vis. Voisins très sympathiques en l’absence des propriétaires. Agréables ballades autour et dans les environs du lac.

Schöne Ferienwohnung in der Provence
Wir wurden von Coco und David sehr nett empfangen und betreut in einer sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. In der Wohnung wurde an jede Kleinigkeit gedacht. Der Pool samt Ausblick in die Umgebung war traumhaft. Diesen herrlichen Ausblick konnten wir aber nur am Pool genießen, da die Terrasse und die gesamte Wohnung in die andere Richtung gebaut ist. Einziger Wermutstropfen bei unserem Aufenthalt waren die für uns sehr unbequemen Betten samt Matratze: durchgelegen und die Federn waren beim Liegen zu spüren.

Den dejligste ferie
Dejlig stor lejlighed i udlejers bolig. Med egen stor terrasse til gæster bag huset. Lækkert poolområde som ikke skal deles med andre pånær ejer. Fantastisk udsigt udover området. Dertil kommer et meget venligt og imødekommende værtspar som bød på drinks. Området er med små hyggelige landsbyer og ikke så overrendt af turister som helt nede ved kysten. Kan klart anbefale Coco og David.

WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE :-)
We spent one week in this wonderful flat. The flat is very well equipped with everything - and especially the view from the bedroom is breathtaking. The pool is just second to none. This beautiful house with the outstanding views is just about a 15 minutes walk down the hill to the beautiful village Seillans. In Seillans there are restaurants -and “8 a 8” (a small super market). Coco and David are very friendly and helpful - and we really hope to return in 2020. Everything was perfect :-)

Eine wundervolle Woche in Nambawan
Schön abseits vom Trubel der Côte d'Azur liegt "Nambawan", eine richtig schöne und gemütliche Ferienwohnung - im gleichen Haus mit den Vermietern CoCo und David. Und das ist auch gut so, weil die beiden jederzeit gerne Auskunft und wertvolle Tipps geben können. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, im Freien gibt es einen gemauerten Holzkohlegrill, der Pool bietet eine sensationelle Fernsicht, im Garten und auf der Terrasse lässt es sich auch mal toll faulenzen. Falls man dazu kommt, denn: In der Umgebung gibt es geniale Rennradrouten, bei denen einige Höhenmeter zusammenkommen können. Und Nizza, Cannes, St. Tropez, Grasse, Gorges du Verdon,... sind allesamt in Auto-Tagesausflugsnähe. Nach Seillans selbst sind es zwar ein paar Höhenmeter, die lohnen sich aber schon. Wir hatten selten einen so gelungenen und sympathischen Aufenthalt: Schöne Ferienwohnung, tolle Umgebung und äußerst angenehme und warmherzige Gastgeber. Thanks again, dear CoCo and David.

Geweldige ligging! Een aanrader om volledig tot rust te komen.
We hebben 2 geweldige weken achter de rug. Het appartement is volledig uitgerust. Het zicht vanaf het zwembad is adembenemend! Heel vriendelijk onthaal door de eigenaars. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar 😀.

Stunning view and lovely people!
A nice flat with everything you need and what a stunning view. You're at a good location to visit the cities Cannes, Nice, Antibes,... But also Seillans itself and surrounding villages are worth a visit. But most importantly, what a warm welcome from the owners. We never experienst this before, such lovely people. Big thanks Coco and David, We had a great time! Een mooie flat met alles wat je nodig hebt en wat een uitzicht! De ideale uitvalbasis om steden zoals Cannes, Nice, Antibes,... te bezoeken maar ook Seillans zelf en de omliggende dorpen zijn zeker een bezoek waard. Maar het belangrijkste, wat een warm welkom van de eigenaren. Wij hebben dit nog niet meegemaakt, zulke lieve mensen. Hartelijk bedank Coco and David, we vonden het zeer fijn!

des vacances inoubliables
On a passé de merveilleuses vacances. Le cadre est vraiment magnifique. Tout est impeccable dans cette grande villa provençale : le jardin bien entretenu avec beaucoup de végétation, une belle piscine et une vue imprenable sur les environs. L’appartement est bien agencé, propre, avec une grande cuisine et une terrasse. Un espace barbecue à disposition. Les propriétaires ont vraiment pensé à tous les détails pour que les vacanciers se sentent bien ! Il y a vraiment tout nécessaire dans la cuisine, assez de placards pour ranger dans l’appartement, sans parler d’un catalogue contenant des descriptifs bien détaillés sur les lieux à visiter, les nr utiles, les adresses de médecins, meilleurs plages, attractions pour des enfants, etc.. En me considérant assez exigeante, j’ai beaucoup apprécié le soin que les propriétaires portent au bien être des vacanciers. En plus ils sont vraiment accueillants et très gentilles, toujours à l’écoute et prêts à nous fournir tout dont nous avons eu besoin. Villa est très bien située, au calme et en même temps pas loin de tous les lieux touristiques comme Nice, St Tropez, Grace… de petits villages voisins à visiter… des supermarchés, boulangeries, restaurants… On a adoré nos journées calmes pour se reposer et se ressourcer au bord de la piscine ou sur la plage et nos journées dédiées aux visites et la découverte de la région. Et tout cela dans le confort et avec un accueil très agréable ! Je recommande sans hésitation !

Vi havde et rigtig dejligt ferieophold i Nambawan i udkanten af Seillans. Lejligheden levede fuldstændig op til vore forventninger og værtsparret var meget venlige og gæstfrie. Vi kan kun anbefale stedet til alle, der ønsker at lære Provence at kende og som gerne vil bo i rolige omgivelser.
