"We booked in at this hotel since we needed a couple of extra rooms when attending a family wedding. Were not impressed with the check-in desk when we came in at night, and the wifi didn't work. The homestay is decorated in a Japanese Indian style very peaceful elegant and intentional with big rooms overlooking the green mountain side dotted with temples. (Nov 14, 2022) When he arrived on the property, he asked the manager/owner for use of the bathroom (after his 6-hr car ride) before checking-in. "This Haveli is right in the Centre of the Pink City. We walked from the hotel to the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, etc. Easy. Dirty streets but we felt very safe. No traffic noise in hotel. Our room was large, bathroom small. Both clean. The hotel has a wonderful roof terrace which was just outside our room and we really enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. It has a wonderful view of Nahargarch Fort which is lit up at night. Lovely to watch the locals kite running from all the roof...

"Location: very convenient, can walk to Albert hall, city palace, Hawaii mahal etc. Also close to a lot of clothing and accessories shop Comfort: has unlimited hot water which is rare in India at this price point. Has all amenities but toilet does smell like the sewer a bit with cockroach. Environment: has nice rooftop bar with live music, but does get quite loud and room soundproofing is not great. All and all would still recommend it."
