"I took my mom to Austria, close to where the Romy Schneider Sissi movies were filmed. Hintersee was perfectly located, literally at the end of the road! It is perfect for people wanting to experience Austria in all its glory. And who love to immerse themselves in the local community. She even had two slices of apple cake and fresh eggs from her family’s property in our refrigerator when we arrived. "Well equipped apartment on the top floor of a hotel, where the staff had differing views to the owner as to the facilities that were available as a non-guest. Lounge area was compact, shower was over the bath with restricted shower-head adjustment. Comfortable bed, we appreciated the air-con in the bedroom. "First class boutique style hotel. Excellent amenities, great shower, bed, noise isolation. My only cons is that there is no place for large suitcase, except from on the floor under TV screen.
