Most guests tell us they LOVE the quiet, peaceful location, and beautiful starry night sky, away from the Sedona traffic, and yet still only minutes away from everything Sedona has to offer. Our private Desert Rose Retreat property is ideal for large families, and reunion or friend groups who want a relaxing, healing trip in nature.

Bring up to 16 guests to stay in our 5 cozy, bright bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms. This ranch-style multigenerational home has plenty of space to spread out comfortably.

There’s no shortage of gathering places to hang out with your loved ones. Come together in the wide-open Great Room for game night, or cozy up on the couches in the family room for cards or charades.
We also appreciate the value of alone time. In the mornings, embrace your yoga practice or meditate in the peaceful yoga room. And when you’re done, cozy up in the reading nook and take a peek through the telescope.

If you enjoy cooking, Desert Rose Retreat’s full kitchen and breakfast bar are at your disposal. Savor late mornings with a freshly brewed pot from the coffee station to sip on as natural light floods the airy room. When you’re hungry for breakfast, try out our waffle bar. No need for baking skills, just use the waffle maker QR code for a mouthwatering treat.

Need to feed an army? Whip up a potluck dinner in our 2nd kitchen (that's right- we have 2 large kitchens!) with stainless steel appliances, or use the BBQ grill to cook something tasty. Then gather at the hardwood dining room table (booster seat available) for good conversation and wine.

To say evenings at Desert Rose Retreat are enchanting is an understatement. Whether you stay in for a relaxing bubble bath, soak in the outdoor hot tub (heated year-round), or convene at the patio’s fire pit beneath the stars, you’ll feel that palpable Sedona magic in the air.

Other Things to Note
Keyless entry home. Two non-invasive cameras on site. Pet-friendly. NO touching/feeding horses next door. Please be aware that Wi-Fi service is not always reliable at our location. We do charge a $35 non refundable pet fee per pet per night (2 pets max) - this will be charged to you AFTER you have made the booking.

The Neighborhood
Desert Rose Retreat is a secluded 1-acre property that’s accessible to the urban amenities of Sedona, but far enough away to feel like a totally rural escape in nature. We created this stay because we believe it’s truly the best of both worlds – you don’t have to compromise on privacy or convenience.

The home is surrounded in all directions by Red Rocks and mountainscapes. Visit the trails of Sedona Wetlands Preserve just a few minutes away for birding. Or stroll along the property’s edge and admire the horses next door from afar.
Want to head into the city? You’re less than 15 minutes by car from downtown Sedona. For a tasty dinner and cocktails, stop into a quality eatery like the Vault Uptown, or Cowboy Club Grille & Spirits. There are plenty of arts and shopping opportunities here as well. Don’t miss the charming Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village.

Famous Red Rock formations are also at your fingertips. Have a spiritual experience at Chapel of the Holy Cross, visit an energy vortex like Bell Rock, or go for a powerful hike at Red Rock State Park.
