Very nice place. The only inconvenience that we experience experienced was that I booked it through Expedia and when I booked it said it would be 241 and then when we arrived, they charged us 271 not a huge difference, but just the second time this happens with Expedia

Well the resort is dated and falling apart. When in the shower, the light fixture fell out and exposed wires. Not great while showering. The staff are also untrained and not informative, specifically RICHIE. We asked Richie specifically and were explicitly told there was no Uber in Sedona and provided with 2 taxi companies to use, which were both unavailable. Come to discover that Sedona does indeed have both Uber and Lyft. As well, Richie explained that we cannot use the in room firepace without an engineer to train us in the use of the fireplace. So we called for "training" to turn the on switch off and on. The maintenance man was very confused as to why we had to learn how to turn the switch off and on. ANOTHER major inconvenience was that we couldn't dial local numbers from the room phone. Again, not a single soul could explain how to use the room phone to dial out. The front desk sent yet another maintenance man who told us he has no clue how to make the phone dial out. Just a total lack of trained staff and inconvenience the whole stay

The lobby and dining areas appeared to have been recently renovated and were clean and inviting. Our room although clean definitely needed a refresh. I paid for a red rock view and if I angled myself just right at the sliding door I could see them. Not exactly what I expected.

I miss the golf course that used to be at the property. The room was nice and quiet. The hotel provided a free continental breakfast and coffee on my last day. Very nice and surprised.

The photos of the resort are deceiving. It looked very fresh and modern. The lobby is. The rooms need updating. Having said that - we paid the bare minimum for rooms compared to in town. The rooms were clean - just very dated. The staff really makes the place so much better.

Overall cool place was really just using for a place to stay for a couple nights while roaming around the area. I will say that my blanket had a mysterious stain near the top which i luckily never used since it got kinda hot at night but i think they may need new sheets. Staff was friendly and no complaints there.

Rooms and buildings are very dated and need a major renovation not just new paint and carpet, which is also very old. However the property is beautiful and the updated lobby and restaurant were very nice.
