Sedona Thunder Mountain Cottage is a bright and airy manufactured home located amongst the soaring Thunder Mountain and Chimney Rock. You will also be close to a network of forest hiking trails and the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park, yet just minutes from shopping, restaurants, theaters and galleries.

This home was recently remodeled and has been professionally decorated. The one-level home offers 1,627 square feet and a convenient split bedroom floor plan with three bedrooms, two bathrooms to sleep six guests comfortably.

Upon entering the home, you'll be greeted by the main living area accentuated cool desert colors throughout. This great room encompasses the living room, dining area and kitchen.

Living Room: Spacious living room with high ceilings, comfortable furnishings, Smart TV with cable programming. You'll enjoy plenty of natural light from the many surrounding windows.

Kitchen: This a great space to create delicious dishes with all the appliances and equipment needed, including a rice cooker. There are spacious countertops, lovely cabinets, and convenient bar seating.

Dining area: The dining area offers seating for six; additional seating at the kitchen bar.

Master – King size bed, Smart TV, and patio access with surrounding views. Master bath has been completely remodeled and offers dual sinks, a soaking tub and shower with a rain shower head.
Bedroom 2 – Queen bed, Smart TV, access to full shared bath that offers a tub shower combo, and outdoor access
Bedroom 3— Two twin beds (or put together for a king upon request and $30 fee), Smart TV and access to the full shared bath

Had a great time in Sedona and the house was just what we needed, a clean place to land after hiking and enjoying the outdoors. The location is great for everything you need in Sedona and getting there is easy, no downtown traffic if you’re coming from phoenix!!!

Very clean and organized place to stay. My wife was a little concerned about the local neighborhood, but I think it was safe. Very close to a great trail and having covered parking for our UTV was awesome.

This rental was clean. Plenty of room for our family of four and our lab. Nice welcome amenities. Well stocked kitchen. Lovely master bed/bath with upgraded fixtures and tub to soak in. Car port was nice to have. Close to everything in town but quiet. Would stay again.

Great location - super clean - larger than expected!
Spent a week with my two teen boys. West Sedona is great because you are in the thick of the traffic in Sedona. The house was extremely comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed, including a few extension cords! Highly recommend this location. My only complaint (and it is a small one) was that we tried to contact the rental agency during our stay and their answering service barely spoke English. Was difficult to explain our very minor issue in the house.

Impressive and Very Comfortable!
Due to flight delays, unfortunately, we were not able to check in until a day later. The property was close to the main drag and had every amenity we could ask for...well, except for a pool (but it was not a prerequisite). It was very clean and outside of getting the AC settings figured out a day later, we could not have chosen a better property. The housing instructions and expectations were communicated well. We did not even use the bedroom with the twin beds, but still had what we needed. We would certainly recommend this property for others while in Sedona.

Great first time in Sedona
Our family stayed here for thanksgiving. It was our first time in Sedona and we were very happy with the proximity of the house to everything from hiking, shopping, grocery stores, gas etc. We were a little sketched out all the windows in the kitchen and one in the living room was unlocked but we assumed it was just an accident and hadn't been checked. For utensils and cooking supplied this house ranks somewhere in the lower middle of the amount of supplies it has compared to others I've stayed at, so if you're looking to cook anything specific I would bring some of your own. Some of the dishes were a little dirty and had food on them so we ended up running most of them through the dishwasher and they were fine. I would say though we're a particularly clean group so some things bother us that wouldn't bother another person. The hot water ran out very quickly, only 2 of us could shower and then we had to wait a bit for it to heat up again. The layout of the house was nice and the table and bar area provided more than enough seating. The house does have cable so you don't have to rely on streaming services. This house is pet friendly and we did bring our 2 dogs, but you could never tell other dogs had stayed there as it was mostly clean. It had a nice front porch with a nice view. As a whole we would definitely stay here again.

Nice visit, but dog friendly?
The property was very close to what was pictured. The furniture a little more weathered. It was listed as dog friendly but after we made the reservation we found out there was a $250 Plus tax Plus we had to sign an agreement in agreement basically saying our pets would sit on the floor. There was no fenced area at all where the dogs could be outside. It was nice. Very clean and and well appointed But definitely not what I consider dog friendly.

Girlfriend getaway post covid
This was our first post vax trip 4 gals, to the magical place that is Sedona and we could not be happier with this rental. Others have posted to make you aware that this is a manufactured home community but it is one of the most spacious and well appointed rentals we have stayed in. From the moment you pull into the driveway, lovely landscaping and seating, Luxury through out, beautiful views from the front of thunder mountain, nicely appointed, pictures are accurate and we didn't need a thing. Sedona.org provided us with check instructions, and left a great binder of things to do and see. Not one complaint or glitch, highly recommend.

The house was adequately-appointed and clean. We had no issues checking in. The neighborhood was a nice mobile home community. To be a 5-star type property the house (specifically the bathrooms and kitchen-) would need upgrades but it worked well for our short visit.

Wonderful Sedona Christmas getaway
This property was the perfect 4 night getaway for our family’s pre - Christmas getaway. We are from the Southern California area but absolutely love Sedona and the location of this house is so close to the Thunder mountain range and the stupa peace park. It’s also very close to many different dining and shopping options. The house had everything we needed in a home away from home and we loved spending time watching movies and playing games as a family in between doing lots of activities that Sedona has to offer. I would highly recommend this rental property and this rental company for anyone looking to have a superb experience in Sedona!!
