This place was just perfect for our recently visit to Sedona for the International Film Festival (our first time!). It’s on the west side of the city away from all the fancy tourist places, but close to all the theaters we needed to hit for our movies and discussion groups. The upstairs property is shared with the Melting Point(highly rated), and if time had allowed would have been fun to do a glass blowing project. The property fit us perfectly, but might have been a bit tight for 44 people not sharing beds (there is a hide a bed in the living room). The bedrooms were comfortable, bathroom clean and supplied, and the porch swings were great for looking at the spectacular views of the red rock while we enjoyed a glass of wine. The kitchen was functional if a bit sparse, but it ticked all of our boxes for being able to do some meals at home. (Sedona is pricey, so it saved our budget to be able to cook). End tables in the bedrooms and living room would have been a nice touch to hold phones, iPads glasses of wine, but if we go to the film festival next year, we will probably book Astronomer’s Abode again.
