"The water smells like sewer felt really bad didn't even drink it I hated to shower or worse my face because so smelly stuck up the whole room don't know what was up with it."

"We loved this place so much. The atmosphere was quiet and felt like home for night. Our only complaint was the bed was extremely loud. (I think it was the box spring) You could move without creeking loudly. The owners were great to communicate with! For sure a neat place."

"Enjoyed our time here."

"The place was nice; check in process was easy; surprised us that it had 2 lofts; and had wonderful hot water. However, there were a few issues. Upon entry, there was dirty laundry on top of the not hooked up yet washer and dryer. Found dirty plates, cup and silverware inside the cupboards. There was no dishrag or sponge to wash the dishes. Had a bbq grill but no grill utensils. Overall, we still all enjoyed the stay."

"our family exhibits at the fair every year and we have stayed in different accommodations just about every year. The bedrooms are nice and big and very comfortable. Our only negative would be the kitchen. We like to cook and the kitchen was a little lacking. A quick trip to a 2nd Hand Shop would greatly improve the cooking utensils and dinnerware. We would definitely ask to stay here again. "

"Wonderful bungalow with new appliances, cotton sheets and every amenity. There is some road noise from street but windows do a good job of blocking most sound. Staying here was a pleasure!"

"House was impeccably clean. Beds were very comfortable. Front porch was the best part. Plenty of seating and a porch swing. It’s where we spent most of our stay. Will definitely rent this place again. "

"I love the indoor pool and the breakfast is really good. Several choices from hot & cold. Staff is very nice. There are inside & outside room entrances. “Face the pool” if you want a “hotel” experience & save a little and have outside door for motel like room. The rooms themselves are smaller, average but clean, cold ac & has sink & vanity outside shower/toilet area which I look for because it makes getting ready easier for the family. It’s SUPER close to the state fair grounds (like 2 minutes) sonic & Mexican food walking distance. It’s not new so if you’re looking for updates you won’t find it here. It’s clean, safe, bug free (a must!!), convenient, free WiFi & Free hot breakfast but the room is still a “outdated motel vibe” so don’t expect higher & then rate them lower because it’s not fancy or updated. It’s $50 a night cheaper for the things that really matter in this price point esp! My daughter & I really love staying here. We get an inside room so I can sit at the pool area (tons of seating, tables, comfy chairs, while she swims & if she’s gotta go to the bathroom or room for anything, I don’t have to pack up everything, I can see her walk to our room. Also, if you’re into walking, this hotel was prob a motel once where all the rooms squared around the pool. Now they added a roof but now you can walk the upstair inside balcony around the pool. Anyways, lots of space to walk and move around inside. Wish there was a hot tub but nope. It’s a 2’ kiddie pool now. "
