Fun family Thanksgiving
We came to Eugene to visit our son and his wife and two young kids. Our other son and partner joined us and we brought my husband’s mother. This house was perfect for us. The single floor layout was great for the kids, ages 1 and 3, and 82 year old grandma. The privacy of the house was great. The kitchen was well equipped for making Thanksgiving dinner. Being dog friendly was a plus for us. The owners were easy to communicate with and welcomed us to have our local son and family over. We greatly appreciated their hospitality. This wonderful place helped ys have a simple and wonderful holiday.

Amazing!
This property has everything you could want. Well supplied kitchen and bathrooms, fans in every room, EV charging port, a grill, everything! As a group, we have stayed in many places and this was the best! Very clean and just right for access to Dexter Lake event. Thank you so much!

OMG So cute!
It’s going to be hard to find a cuter place than this one! This house is nestled in the woods just outside of Eugene. It was spotless and luxurious which was a perfect respite during the three days spent at Nike Outdoor Nationals. We couldn’t believe all of the special touches - every detail was thought of. I wish we could have stayed much longer to enjoy the property more. We highly recommend this place!

Peaceful Family Gathering
This was such a lovely property and so enjoyable. We had a family holiday gathering of siblings with our children. It felt like home from the moment we arrived. The kids loved exploring and the remote location from the road provided a safe and peaceful setting. We would absolutely return!

Just Perfect!
The Barnyard is a beautiful property. From its spacious, efficient and well appointed kitchen, to the bedrooms and bathrooms, our hosts thought of everything. Our dogs loved the property, too! It was a wonderful place to stay for the weekend, although I wish we could’ve stayed longer. In short, the Barnyard rocks!

Memorable Stay at The Barnyard
We recently met up with friends at the Barnyard and had a great stay. From the time we arrived we felt right at home with everything we could possibly need- and then some! So much thought was put into this place; from snacks on arrival, fully stocked cabinets and dishes, to the toothbrush and toothpaste if you forgot yours. When we stayed in, there were plenty of charging stations for all our devices, solid internet connection, living room had a great TV with lots of seating (and great nature watching from the big front windows!), there’s a table big enough for meals and games. We loved grabbing a glass of wine and heading to the deck that overlooks the barn and wooded area, with super comfy chairs and amazing BBQ grill that we used - a lot! We also got out and visited nearby Owen Rose Garden and Mount Pisgah Arboretum, hiked waterfalls, had dinner, wine tasted and shopped in Eugene. It’s a great place to stay in/hang out or get out and explore the area! Stephen and Suzanne are great hosts and were always available to answer our questions and make recommendations. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Barnyard Bonanza!!
From booking to checkout, every aspect was nothing short of fabulous! The “Barnyard” is incredibly appointed with every amenity visitors could ever need. The kitchen is beautiful and welcoming and lacks for nothing in terms of cooking and serving, and, in fact, has many extras! The bedrooms are comfy with plenty of storage and cozy touches. The bathrooms are well appointed and include such touches as tooth brushes and razors for those guests who may have forgotten an essential or two. The property was well maintained and full of deer who visited us daily. We would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a family getaway, dropping students off for university, or events such as weddings. The owners provided us with many local options for dining, shopping, hiking, rafting and exploring. We will definitely be back, hopefully with more family next time!

Perfect in every way!
I stayed at the barnyard with my family (husband and 4 kids, ages 4-11) and both sets of grandparents. One of our sons participated in the USATF Junior Olympics at Hayward Field which was an easy drive that took less than 20 mins. This place is stunning and perfect in every aspect! My kids kept saying how great it was and rate it way over 5 stars! And the grandparents felt the same way. The entire place is high end from appliances, to comfortable beds, to an amazing entryway/mud room. The patio with comfortable furniture was the favorite place to hang out. It was enjoyed for drinking coffee, reading books, playing games and for the grandparents to enjoy the tranquility while my husband and I put kids to bed! The Barnyard is well cared for and beyond clean. The owners have made sure you will be comfortable and have supplied everything you could possibly need. They also were great to communicate with and even shared recommendations on places to venture out to. If you are looking for a place to stay near Eugene I can’t recommend this place enough. We were all sad to see our time come to an end. We will definitely book again if we make it back to the Eugene area.

We loved the Barnyard!!!
My family (wife, 8 year old daughter and in-laws) spent 5 magical days on this property. Host communication was excellent. I’ve worked as a chef throughout the US, so I loved that the kitchen was so well equipped for real cooking. Property was convenient to everything we wanted to do…the hiking, river rafting, waterfalls and a trip to the coast. We saw deer, turkeys and quail out the windows and watched the sun and moon rise over the barn. We will definitely look forward to visiting this property again!! Thank you for the memories Stephen & Suzanne!

Fantastic spot for our wedding
This property is a deal. Get it now while it's a bargain. This place should be priced more like a luxury villa. We chose this property because we wanted a small rural barn property for our wedding venue. Steve and Sue were excited to allow us to plan and hold our wedding in the barn and barnyard. We decorated the barn and adjacent yard area. We'd initially planned to hold the ceremony facing the oak trees and meadow to the south, but the July heat in Lane County caused us to move inside the barn instead. It was a great decision. The barn is rustic, but has a clean concrete floor where we set up chairs, and we stood under the loft at the east end. We used the open barn bay on the south as our food line and put the portapoties on the far north side. After the ceremony we all moved out to the gravel yard area in front of the barn where we put the tables and chairs for dinner, while the band set up inside and the barn and that became our dance floor. The house worked great for us to prepare for the wedding, hold our small rehersal dinner, and had plenty of places for us to get ready. Steve and Sue have thought of and included everything you need for a great stay at their barnyard property. The house is decorated and furnished with nice, new, tasteful things. Everything is top notch. The patio was a nice place to relax in the evenings and the bed was so comfortable we fell right to sleep when we laid down our heads.

Best Service & Foresty Location
This property was so beautiful, fancy, yet cozy! First of all, you feel like you are in your own world here. The property is huge, forested, and private. It is big so you could have a wedding here if you wanted down in the big red barnyard! We had my mother in law, my husband and I, my son, his wife and grandson, and my other son with us. The kitchen and kitchen island and dining table are huge and we had great times playing board games on them. The living room has an electric reclining sofa and 2 of the same kind of recliners plus a long window seat so the whole family could sit and enjoy movies together. The recliners really helped our aching feet! The guitar and keyboard were nice to have and our family enjoyed playing them a bit. We all sat together outside and enjoyed the cozy porch sofa and chairs and the grill was great for our burgers and bratwurst! The beds were super comfy and we slept well! There are so many special touches, it impossible to list them all. First of all, the Barnyard was fully stocked with coffee, toilet paper and paper towels. They even had snacks for us when we arrived which was so nice after the long drive. When I went to wash my face there was a makeup towel anddd I forgot my toothbrush so thankfully they supplied us a few! Andddd shampoo conditioner and soap! Steven and Suzanne went above and beyond and I would stay at any of their locations if they had more! Thank you so so much!!!

Perfect location, Beautifully furnished rental
Stephan and Suzanne were wonderful hosts being attentive and available to answer any questions and to make sure our needs were met. Check in and check out were easy and instructions were clear. Their rental is beautifully furnished with all the kitchen and bathroom amenities that you could think of. The outdoor porch is a lovely place to relax after a hard day of fun. We were racing on nearby Dexter Lake so the location was perfect. The quiet, secluded property was perfect for winding down and enjoying a wonderful meal. I can't recommend their place enough.

Serenity without the long drive
This house was the perfect combination of "secluded privacy" and "close to everything". I enjoyed a cup of coffee each morning on the beautiful porch in the peace and serenity of the forest, yet we were only a short 18 minute drive from the U of O campus. The house itself was immaculate and well stocked with anything you could possibly need during the stay. We enjoyed home cooked meals each day. The kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was high quality, so my cooking tasted even better than usual! There were tons of great walking trails at the nearby state park. We saw a few people fishing and wished we had our poles with us. The hosts were super responsive with all questions and requests. Wish we could have stayed longer! Hope we can come back and enjoy it longer next time.
