Great location with few complaints
So overall location and stay were great. The lack of curtains in the bedroom for sleep, the twin beds having 6” deep mattress, locked out of adding my Netflix to the Roku, building laundry instead of unit laundry, and the couch pointed away from the tv (crick in the neck).

Mixed experience with Vacasa and this unit
Three friends and I stayed here in August 2024. Our original flight was canceled and we weren't certain we would make it to Seattle. Vacasa would not give us a refund on our stay and we were told by Vacasa they were “very ready for us.” When we did make it to Seattle, “very ready for us” turned out to include an unmade, broken bed and no available parking pass. Having a bed for 4 people and a place to park our rental car for the night off-street were some of our major points when deciding where to book our stay, so that was quite frustrating. One of our party members did not have a bed to sleep on for the entire stay. There were issues with cleanliness, including a dirty shower curtain, hair in the shower drain, and dying flowers on the counter emitting a foul odor. Washcloths were not included in the linens and when we requested them, we were given hand towels and no wash cloths. Vacasa did end up giving us a partial refund because of the broken bed, after much back and forth. It took two weeks for the local Vacasa team to rectify our concerns with a partial refund after daily messaging and phone calls, and finally escalating the complaint to Vacasa management beyond the local team. The first partial refund offer from the local team was $75 - quite insulting given the total booking price. We did receive our requested partial refund and considering the unit’s proximity to sites/walkability (another major reason we chose this place), we felt this unit should get 3 stars.

Honest Review
Basiclly overall it was a good experience. Here are some suggestions for improvements. Cleanliness is very good. However I think a deep clean once a month for the bathroom and kitchen would help. I think that it should be made more clear that people renting the unit need to be mindful of bringing more toiletries if needed. When your on vacation. You dont pay attention to such details when your excited abour traveling. And one more thing & to me this is important. Please take time to create laminated copies of stores, convient stores, restaurants, cafe's, attractions within walking distance. This would have been a huge help. Thanks

Ok stay, minus no ac
Had an early flight and was unable to get early check in, but I understand that part. We had to meet with a person to check in and take us up, which seemed a little silly to me. The ad doesn’t mention no ac. There was none and it was 85 the whole time of our stay. Plus there were no screens in the window which made it difficult to put fans in them to cool the place off. The beds could definitely use an upgrade bc they were quite uncomfortable. On the plus side, easy walking distance to Pike Place and the monorail system. A few blocks from the Starbucks Distillery. The place was clean and well stocked. .

Great place to stay
Great location. Within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Property manager was accessible and helpful. No air conditioning was tough as we went during an unseasonably hot week. There were a couple fans, though, so that was helpful. Fit family of four very comfortably.

Issues on checking in.
Property manager contacted me the night before, I asked if there was any chance of an early check in. Later that evening. I got an email that said check in the afternoon and no parking. We arrived at the condo. After numerous phone calls trying to contact someone we got property managers phone number. He tells me that the in rules indicate there's no chicken until four o'clock. I said I understand that but I asked possibly for an early check in and you said in the afternoon. I assume that meant Earlier. He indicated we could not check in until four o'clock according to the rules. We had to check our luggage at a grocery store and wait 2 and a 1/2 hours. We arrived back at the condo At three thirty. I sent a text indicating we were back waiting. He sent me an email check in at four o'clock. We sit there. Fo 40 minutes. He was intentionally ten minutes late letting us in Since he lives in the Building. As he was showing us the condo and it took us upstairs to see the roof I tripped and fell and broke my wrist. Which put a damper on our whole vacation. He did call an ambulance. And called several times to check on me. I did not have A good check in at all and I would not recommend anyone for that location.

Terrible guest service
Vacasa was a nightmare to communicate with! The check-in was delayed, they lacked proper follow up when we had questions about the Roku TV and late check-out that was promised. Neither was provided by the end of the stay. The guest service experience was SO terrible that you (vrbo) should consider not working with them or you will never have me as a customer again.

Absolutely terrible! Unsafe area, horrible unit. And will never stay with VACASA again!
This was the worse vacation rental we have ever had (and we stay in them almost monthly). The area was so unsafe. We heard gunshots outside our window in the middle of the night. And the subsequent police sirens! The unit was very bare bones. The furniture was worse than IKEA. The bed broke underneath us in the middle of the night dumping us on the floor (and we are small people!). The sofa (only seating) smelled so dirty, we hated to sit on it. We contacted Vacasa about it immediately and were told housekeeping would come out. They did not. No one ever contacted us again. Additionally the hallways smelled like urine! NO AIR CONDITIONING and it was HOT! Not great for cooking - only a small pan. Also, I don't like being forced off VRBO to pay and handle through the Vacasa app. I booked through VRBO for a reason. I'm surprised VRBO allows that. I also didn't like having to coordinate to meet a teenager to check in.

Great location in the heart of Seattle
Nice older property with comfortable beds. The building in general, could use some updating. Elevator was quick. The hallways had an odor smelling of urine outside our door, but improved further down the hall. Our unit did not smell. Few towels were provided and bathroom toiletries included a 1 oz. bottle of each body wash, shampoo and conditioner. No bar soap provided for the shower. (Four women rented this unit so the toiletries were not sufficient.) Doug, the manager of the building, was accommodating providing extra linens and a few more bath items upon request. The location was wonderful. We walked around the city and were less than 1 mile from Pikes Place Market. A small convenience store is nearby for snacks although they were pricey. Starbucks 4-5 blocks away. Many restaurants and bars to visit near this property.

Very Poor Felt like a part of survival adventure
We planned out New years stay at this location but we had an overall bad experience as far as the condo is concerned. we were checked in by the care taker of the property who was a nice person. He brought a heavy luggage climbing several stair to the elevator, while I was carrying other stuff. But that's about where the short good experience about the stay ended There was no liquid soap in the bathroom and the toilet was soiled in feces. Perhaps the cleaning person used the toilet before leaving not realizing that the flush does not work. Next AM when we used the toilet it did not flush and we informed the caretaker about both the soap and the broken toilet. He came after we left and fixed it. However it was a temporary fix as it clogged again with the next use. We informed him again but he asked us to use the plunger in place already and we had to unclog it with the plunger after every use. THe plunger was a permanent fixture of the bathroom so I am sure other visitors had the same problem. Night became an unexpected adventure as there was no heating after 11 PM. WE had to bundle up with multiple blankets and our son caught cold during our stay. THe building had some weird schedule for heating, where heating would turn on and off for the entire building at certain times. For e.g there was no heating from 11 PM to 5 Am or so. Hence we had to crank it up late evening till 11 PM, so that we could survive those 6 hours when it would be off. That would make the unit so dry and hot during late evening, sometimes we had to open the windows to maintain some humidity in the unit. Also the heating regulator was from 100s of years old, not a modern digital one. SO we had no idea how much heat we have increased until it would take effect in about 20 minutes or so. The floors and carpet, while otherwise clean gave you a feeling of being very old, perhaps carpet never changed or steam washed. One could not step on the floor or carpet without socks on. The parking was there but it was very tight.

Comfortably fit our family of 4 and within walking distance of so much.
After dealing with airport delays and finally arriving in Seattle, Doug was very accommodating with checking in and was pleasant whenever we crossed paths throughout the week. While the building is older, it was clean and we felt secure. The apartment was clean. I've seen other comments about the highway noise, we didn't feel it was overly noisy. We used the AC unit once and it cooled the whole apartment and wasn't any noisier than a window unit. All in all, we loved Seattle and felt happy to return each night to the apartment.

Great location w/in walking distance of Pike Market
We loved this little condo. Doug the greeter was so friendly and helped us get checked in and out. The condo is on the 14th floor of a highrise downtown apt building. Within walking distance a few blocks up are a bunch of cute bars and a fun Starbucks tasting room. Revolution wine bar has excellent rose slushies (get the pinot grigio flavor). We took an Uber to Ray's Boathouse for a fancy seafood dinner but in hindsight we should have just used our rental car (there is parking under the condo bldg.). If you walk down the street you pass the Convention Center and it's about a 8-10 minute walk to Pike Market which is amazing. We ate at Ella's for brunch which was really good. Argosy Lochs cruise was well worth it and highlight of trip! Did the underground tour and it was mediocre. Space Needle is worth it for the good pictures if it's sunny. We completely lucked out on weather and had no rain which was amazing! Overall the condo fit our needs although the pictures make it seem fancier than it is. No central air but the window unit and fans that were provided made it comfortable for us Texans!
