Renovated Basement Property
My fiance and I stayed at this property over Christmas to visit with family. It's in a quiet suburban neighborhood with easy access to Juanita, Kirkland, and Woodinville. The entire house has been converted to short-term rentals, and this unit is the downstairs.
Overall, the property was beautifully renovated and well-designed for a stay (and the internet was great). However, it doesn't have some of the finishing touches that would make it easier for a guest to take advantage of the amenities. For example, the kitchen didn't have any sponges or a dry rack for washing dishes. It did have a dishwasher, but there was no detergent, so it wasn't very usable either. Our stay was short enough that we decided not to use the kitchen.
Similarly, there were three shower towels provided in the bathroom, but no hand towels. There were three microfiber cloths in the bathroom, but they looked like they may not have been washed prior to our stay, and they may have been for cleaning rather than guest use. The bathmat had not been cleaned prior to our stay either. It would be worthwhile to confirm with the owner that the kitchen/bathroom have the amenities that you need prior to your arrival.
All that being said, Sam, the owner, was great to work with and very responsive to questions and problem-solving to address issues that arose while we were there.
