Overall our stay and experience was good. We were there for a Christmas party that started at 5pm and we reserved 4 rooms and tried to check in about 3pm. They were very stern about not letting us check in until 4pm. We waited in the lobby as the bar also was not open until 4. We watched several other people get checked in before us. I feel like this was a very unnecessary check in experience and could have been avoided. Overall clean inside, safe and secure.

The property was clean and well-maintained. However, the service was unacceptable. I was not acknowledged in any way for several minutes while waiting to be checked in, despite being one of only two guests checking in, and three staff members working behind the desk. One was assisting the other guest, but the other two ignored my presence until I said “hi” expectantly to the female staffer, who responded with hi, but then immediately got on the phone, and ignored me again when she hung up. She started giving me an excuse why she couldn’t help me when I asked if she could check me in. The staffer helping the guest asked the other male staffer to check me in. As soon as I entered my room, the smell of bleach was so strong that I had to open the door and stand outside. After much back and forth with the female at the front desk, including her saying, “well, at least you know the room is clean”, I asked if housekeeping could re-mop and re-clean everything they used bleach on with hot water to dilute the smell and toxicity level, she agreed to my request, in addition to having them spray a substance and open the window. A female working in the breakfast lounge told me she doesn’t speak English when I asked her a question, and didn’t get anyone else to assist me. This was a buffet, and the staff gave each guest one clean plate. My mother found a long hair in her eggs, and I had to flag down two staff members before she got another plate, and the situation was resolved.

Flooring sliping and gaps all over. Shower bar browken and shower curtain to small for shower. Breakfast doesnt taste great and the service is very slow. No one checks if you need a refill for coffee etc.

Here’s an honest breakdown: Costs and Amenities: Parking is $15/day, and rooms average $170/night. You must use your room key to access the elevator, which adds security but can be inconvenient. There was no ice machine on our floor, and we had to call housekeeping for basic supplies like toilet paper and tissues. Breakfast: While breakfast is included for two guests, the food was lukewarm and basic—French toast or pancakes, bacon or chicken sausage, eggs, potatoes, bagels, and oatmeal. Unfortunately, it’s dine-in only; you’re not allowed to take food to your room. Room service was similarly inconvenient—if you need cutlery, you’re required to pick it up yourself. Work Environment: If you’re planning to work during your stay, this hotel may not be the best choice. The music in common areas is loud, there’s no dedicated business center, and the seating in the lobby is more suited for socializing than working. Room Features: Rooms don’t include microwaves unless requested, and the café microwave is only available until 4 PM. The décor is basic, lighting is dull, and the TV lacks smart features—you’re stuck with a basic scroll menu and cable. Customer Service Issues: The most frustrating part of our stay was being overcharged by $110 due to a misunderstanding about early check-in. We were told we needed to book a full extra night to check in at 7 AM (due to our early flight), which cost us $169. Upon arrival at 7:30 AM, we were told we’d been marked as a no-show

This is the best place to stay in South Center. Between the airport and downtown. Right in the center of the best shopping/dining around. The hotel rooms originally had terrible modern bathroom doors, but those have been fixed!! Very private now.
