Location
Communication was great and quick. The building is old but the place was clean. The space was perfect for our family of four. The road was noisy with traffic but we had no trouble sleeping. Perfect location to easily walk to various restaurants and lumen field.

Great location, okay apartment
This apartment is great for the price and location if you have a big group. We all fit in easily and were able to live there for 4 nights with ease. It's also in a great location. The apartment itself though is fairly old and kind of dingy. That being said, if you have a big group for a few nights in Seattle, I think this is a good spot to stay at.

Seattle stay
It was sufficient for a couple nights before our cruise. Watered down liquid soap in at least one of the bathrooms and no extra trash bags for kitchen waste basket. Though it’s not the properties fault there was a gas leak on our last night at the next block over that could have caused evacuation. That was just an unpleasant possibility.

pros and cons
Pros: The beds were comfortable, the hot water stayed hot even after 4 people showered, it is a quiet neighborhood, and the location is fantastic. Cons: There is no heat, the windows don't latch, the parking is horribly small .

Great location for convention center
Stayed for a work event at the convention center and it was an excellent location. Just a few blocks from all the conference venues, while also walking distance to great restaurants, bars and shops around Capitol Hill. Because of proximity to the freeway and single-paned windows, there was a constant "white noise" sound, but generally much quieter than I would've expected. It's not a brand new apartment, but very servicable, especially since we weren't spending long amounts of time there. Appreciated the free, dedicated parking and attentiveness from Vacasa team.

Needs some repairs and attention to detail
The second bedroom (the one with two twin beds) didn't have a working window cover - the shade was broken and sitting in the bottom of the window. The windows didn't shut properly - you could feel cold air from the gap - and that let in noise but it's tolerable if you bring ear plugs. Couldn't find a thermostat but the temperature was OK. No ladder or stool for reaching the top-level shelves in kitchen. No bath mats, ended up using a towel. The air register on the wall left of the fridge looked like it had never been cleaned, otherwise the place was clean. The bed was very comfortable.

Had a great stay here
Amazing location within walking distance of so many restaurants, shopping, and public transit options. The parking spot was a nice bonus, though it is quite compact as the listing states. The building is truly residential with tenants respectful of noise. I wanted to mention that the unit had in-window AC units, which meant that the windows couldn’t really be closed to shut out the noise. Maybe something to consider for light sleepers, as the unit is downtown and very close to the freeway. Earplugs would probably solve the issue, though.

Dated unit
Except for location, everything else was extremely disappointing. Apartment was not satisfactorily clean - the pans were dirty, dust on the drawers, tower fan had dust and dirt collected over a long time. Has a partial AC in the living room which sounds like a motorcycle when run and installed with a hole in the wall where you can enjoy the freeway noise! Highly overpriced. Vacasa did offer some credit back but huge disappointment nevertheless. Stay away from this one.

Lackluster at best!
This unit was in terrible shape. We could not get the heat to turn down. The window let a ton of noise through. Noone showed up to help so we had to figure it out ourselves. Baseboards in one bedroom were pulled away from the wall. I could go on but suffice it to say I wouldn't pick this unit again. For what we paid it wasn't a great value.

Would not book again in this condition
The apartment is quite old. The windows don’t seal properly and there is road noise (enough that you can hear it through ear plugs). We booked for 5 and there was no blanket for the pull out couch. The greeter was able to get us one from another apartment. The pullout is horrible. No adult could survive that thing - springs everywhere and incredibly noisy. The window in the bedroom with the twin beds didn’t even have a blind. I had to rig up a sheet to cover it. The ceiling in the bathroom started leaking while we were there. I contacted the maintenance line as soon as we found it and they said they would be in touch the next day. They never contacted us. The king bed was comfortable and the location was ok. I would not book this place again. The booking said the greeter would contact me 1 to 2 days in advance. I was not contacted and had to reach out to Vacasa several times to try and arrange entry. I didn’t hear from the greeter until I got their number and called them a few hours before our flight. I honestly thought I had been scammed.

Avoid this place
We have a very difficult trip with this place. We checked in with our host who told us that the place we rented was not available due to “renovations” and he ushered us to another apartment that has 1 fewer bedroom and 1 fewer bathroom. Our host assured us that he will get us to a bigger apartment the next day but this did not happen until the end of the trip (3 days later). He also had very poor communication with us and he would only respond many hours after a question and won’t get back to us after hours even though he said he will get back to us in 5 minutes (this happened many times). Thus, our minor requests were not fulfilled. We didn’t have the WiFi password for 2 days. After many conversations with our host and customer support, our host said that he will refund us in the end but I have only received partial refund. I am still with customer support trying to get the rest of the refund. Until that happens, I would strong recommend that this location be avoided unless you want to experience a very frustrating stay.

1950's apartment building, close to downtown
The king size bed was really comfortable and the newly remodeled kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. It is unusual for an apartment to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The location is an easy walk to downtown. The neighborhood felt safe. We did not hear much noise from the neighbors. We found a 1/2 used soap bar and half used shampoo bottle in the shower, which made us wonder if the shower was cleaned before we got there. Be aware that due to this building being built before newer building codes there are issues. #1 if you have children be aware that the windows open widely with no safety features and the apartment is on the 13th floor. #2 the washer and dryer are not in the apartment. There is a laundry room with a couple of washing machines and dryers on the 2nd floor. #3. The access to the building requires you take stairs. To get into the building from the parking garage we had to go up a long steep set of concrete stairs. (the parking stall was not designed for a large car - it is the city- bring a compact) #4 There is no way to control the temperature in the apartment. There are no thermostats. The heat is run by the building. #5. In the 1950's there were inadequate earthquake codes. Vacasa is a reliable rental company that I have rented from before. They are responsive, but I did have to spend a long time on hold to get help.

Central and convenient stay in Seattle
The Hubbel Haven was a terrific stay for our family of four. The bedrooms allowed all of us some privacy. We made many of our meals in the well-appointed kitchen. The location is also unbelievable. It is steps away to so many bars, cafes, restaurants, and music venues. We even went to T-Mobile Stadium for a concert using the ubiquitous e-scooters that are everywhere in Seattle. Wonderful place to stay.
