Close-in Beautiful Retreat: Large, Lodge-Like Private Lakefront Setting

Experience instant relaxation as you enter this gorgeous 4,200 sq ft 4-bedroom lakefront guest home near Seattle/Bellevue/Tacoma. Situated on 10 acres and 800 feet of waterfront the property connects to a 42 acre preserved forest to explore. Share stories around the fire-pit at night, BBQ on gas grill and enjoy breathtaking views of meadow and lake. Take a lake tour in sailboat, canoe or rowboat. Bring boots and hike through natural meadow and second-growth forest. Enjoy a floating waterslide while you swim in the clean waters of Shadow Lake. Inside enjoy a large HD plasma Smart TV with Xfinity, ping pong, foosball, gas fireplace and a library of books. Refrigerator/freezer for your food and plenty of pantry space . Put your feet up and stay awhile! (Note the small apartment on left is not part of the rental and is not included in the description herein).

Our rates include up to 8 people. Any additional people are an extra charge-- this includes children. Infants can be excluded from the count.

**We allow OUTDOOR EVENTS ONLY of less than 100 people. Regardless of weather, the entire event must take place outside and must use the provided portable toilets, as there is a septic system not suitable for events. Additional event fees and regulations are also required, and all events are required to be approved ahead of time. We reserve the right to limit the amount of events held on our property.

Please inquire for a customized quote. We will adjust/remove the event fees once we receive communication that an event will not be held.

Wonderful!
The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. It is an amazing area with plenty to do. We had a large group and everyone had their own space and we were able to do different things when they wanted. The lake was beautiful. We enjoyed the canoe and the slide, I would definitely recommend this location and property!

We spent Christmas at the Lake House with our family. The house was extremely comfortable, clean and a great kitchen. The property manager was awesome and we even had a Christmas tree! The whole family absolutely loved our Christmas in King County!!

The property was even better than expected. We were two families with three kids who always had something to do, from swimming, water sliding, exploring, to playing in the grass field - not to mention indoor activities like ping pong. We had a great time. Our 2 adult sons and their families enjoyed the lake with the sale boat, row boat, canoe and paddle boards. Our 20 month old granddaughter even caught her first fish. The only complaint we had was we only stayed 5 days and the time went to quickly.

The property is beautiful. We fished, we used the row boat and canoe. The lily pads we so pretty. We saw eagles, deer, and an elk. We would highly recommend this property. If we are in the area we will definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful lake property
This was our second time staying at the Shadow lake. We had lot of fun over the Labor Day weekend. House is so comfortable and well equipped! Kids, ages 7-14 loved the slide and boats, as well as the game room.

This is a great property for all ages. The kids enjoyed swimming and floating in the lake, the water was a little cool for us older folks. Great fishing caught 3 trout day two right off the dock. The place is so beautiful we couldn't stop taking pictures.

Great family getaway
This is spacious and beautiful place to spend a few days with family. Even though it was rainy outside, we enjoyed comfortable family time inside with plenty of space for our family of 8 adults and three toddlers. There was a well-stocked kitchen with more pots and pans and utensils than you would ever need but with lots of options. The game room was great — with a ping pong table and fooseball. We had a great time.
