Gorgeous home enjoy the hot tub cozy fireplaces & only minutes to SEATAC airport

Beautiful and restful! Our home has been recently refreshed and furnished and is ready to warmly welcome you and your family. Why stay in a hotel room when you can stay in a beautiful home with gourmet kitchen, spa bathroom and gorgeous back yard. Enjoy the 2 gas fireplaces or warm up outside in the hot tub. We are a non-smoking property. Fern Haus is 5 minutes from SEA airport and close to light rail. Burien is a small community with great restaurants, shopping and breweries. Des Moines marina is 10 minutes south with restuarants and parks. Seattleā€™s T-Mobile and Lumen fields are 15 minutes to downtown, Seattle's Pioneer Square and the waterfront. Fern Haus is ready for you with 3 bedrooms all with brand new beds, mattresses and hypo allergenic hotel style quality bedding. There is one full luxury bathroom with walk in shower featuring a rainfall shower with an adjustable hand shower and heated floors also there is a half bath off the kitchen. Our home is basically on one level with two steps in and one step down to the family room with smart tv which opens up to a big beautiful patio and amazing back yard with patio dinning, hot tub, fire pit and gas bbq. The kitchen is the center of our home with a large island and top notch stainless steel appliances gas range, dishwasher and refrigerator. We have stocked the kitchen with quality dishes, glassware, cookware and serving pieces. There is room to move here with 3 bedrooms a front living area with gas fireplace, big open kitchen and large family room with another gas fireplace. Step outside to our patio with string lights on the arbor and a new bbq. The garden has plenty of grass to play with nice shade trees and is fully fenced. Steps away is our brand new big hot tub set at 101 degrees. You can enjoy the evening around the fire pit. There is easy parking for 3 cars. We are close to the airport but we have upgraded insulation for a peaceful nights sleep. A newly installed EV charger is availble for an additional cost. Enjoy our private home like a luxury resort!

Close enough to Seattle to enjoy the city, but truly enjoyed our time in Burien. The home was lovely and well maintained - it had everything we needed for a fun weekend.

This is a beautiful house with all the necessary stuff present, and Gretchen is a wonderful host, caring and responsive. Our stay here could not be any better and I would easily give this place 12 out of 10 if I could. It is as close to "home away from home" as it gets, and we do know where to stay if we are in the Seattle area again.

Great location
We loved our stay at this house. It is super clean and has lots of little extras to make up for the things I always forget. The location is perfect - it is easy to get everywhere. It is a beautiful neighborhood with nice neighbors. Let me say it again, it was so clean. Best pet friendly house I have stayed in. My husband said when we go back to Seattle we will only stay here.

Amazing Home
My husband and in-laws stayed with our 18 month old son. The home was beautiful and has more space than expected. The backyard is absolutely beautiful and well taken care of, the location was perfect for us because we didnā€™t want to be in downtown Seattle, but close enough to do some of the tourist things. If we ever come back to Seattle I would absolutely stay here again.

VISITING FAMILY
We had an awesome time here! House is well kept with everything you could want and need from things for babies, teens, and even pets. Hot tub was a huge hit for the kids. Beutiful neighborhood with people constantly going for walks. Yard is beautiful and big for daughters dog to run around. We are definitely staying here anytime we visit our kids. Great location to grocery stores and restaurants. 7 min drive to airport without having to go on the freeways.

Lovely Place and Property Manager
Weā€™ve stayed at a bunch of VRBO rentals and this was by far the nicest (and weā€™ve paid close to $1,000 per night at other places lesser quality). The property managers are so wonderful as well. We stayed so we would be close to the airport and it was. Note that it wasnā€™t so close that you couldnā€™t sleep at night with all the noise. We never heard a thing.

Beautiful space, great hosts
My family and I stayed at Fern Haus on an emergency basis when my partner was sick and hospitalized at St. Anne's, a nearby hospital. The owners were compassionate and kind to us and the property was beautiful, immaculately clean, brand new and comfortable with many great amenities including a full kitchen where we could make meals and a hot tub to relax in. The detail and care put into the building and presentation of the home make it a wonderful place for a home base in Seattle .

Perfect House and Stay
We absolutely loved our stay at this house! The house is newly updated and has all sorts of great little features including very good AC, a beautiful backyard, a wonderful kitchen and a relaxing hot tub. It had every little thing that we needed for our week long stay that was because of repairs to our nearby home. And if you are vacationing in Seattle, it is super close to the 509 freeway and you can be in downtown or to other sites quickly. The owners were very responsive and took care of one little tiny problem within 30 minutes of us asking about it. A 5 star stay all around and we are bummed to leave.

Home Away from Home
After a long flight, from the moment we entered the house we felt welcomed. The host thought of everything from the nice, cozy decorations to every single detail we may need. The property is close to the airport, and close to highways. We visited Seattle and even spent a day at Mount Rainier. It was very nice at the end of the day to enjoy the hot tub, it is definitely a nice touch, and our meal outside in the patio, we felt in love with the patio, it has a nice atmosphere. We loved our stay at Fern Haus. Gretchen thank you for being such a great host.

Great place to stay
We flew up from so cal to celebrate Christmas with our daughter her husband and dog. Location was close to airport and 15 minutes to downtown, which we went to a few times! The house was very clean, welcoming, and completely upgraded. The host Gretchen had it very well decorated for Christmas, including snacks, which just made us feel like home. Backyard was nice and the spa so relaxing. The neighborhood was safe. We walked late at night and in the morning. The kitchen was great with everything needed to make a home cooked meal. Didnā€™t feel the need to go out. Highly recommend staying here. If we come back to Seattle area we would definitely stay here again.

Greatest Stay Ever
This host is absolutely the best. We had EVERYTHING we needed and more. It was like being at home in my own home. Thoughtful touches everywhere. We felt very welcomed. We had a couple minor questions and the host responded almost immediately. We had a 5 day stay with adult children. It was a quick trip into the city when we had to go but the location had all the amenities - restaurants, shopping, etc that we needed. The backyard was superbly maintained and it was a great sunny Seattle weekend so we were able to use the outdoor amenities - all first class. Do Not hesitate to book here. Thank you so much Gretchen !! We would not hesitate to book again if we need to be in the area.

BEST PLACE EVER
When I tell you the picture are nothing compare to when I walked in. It was breath taking, clean, bright and open. The instruction are not only on the site, but on the counter. They thought of everything. We didn't need for anything. Gretchen was extremely communicative and available to help if needed. It was a great place for our Joy & Wellness Day; sound bath, yoga, massage, facial, games, hot tub was the highlight of the space and great food. I fell in love with the backyard, a great weekend getaway. Close to the airport, stores, restaurants and in a great neighborhood. The one and only thing missing was an electric water kettle but the pot worked. Grateful for amazing spaces. Thank you
