"The property was beautiful, clean and in the perfrct location for being able to walk anywhere in downtown. Close to a park for kids and lots of choice of restaurants too. So much history in the building was an extra bonus!"

"The place we stayed was a little bit away from the convenience. It was too far for walking since bus stop was distantly away. Fortunately we got rides and didn't need bus transportation. Overall the place met our satisfaction since it was in a quiet area and we only stayed for few hours for sleeping each day. "

"The house was found as described in the listing, modern, in very good condition, and located in a quiet family neighborhood only a 15 minute drive from downtown Halifax. We (party of 6 adults) found the house properly cleaned and outfitted, and nicely warmed, upon our arrival. "This was an ideal place for us to stay - short trip to visit family in the area. We like the convenience of a kutchen to make tea, coffee and quick snacks. Location was ideal and the host was lovely - so friendly. Suite had everything we needed, plus extra touches such as toiletries and tea and coffee were provided. "

"Halifax was a beautiful destination. Lots to see and do. Took car trips up the Atlantic coast and saw quaint fishing villages, and towns that suffered through different maritime disasters. It was nice to have an accommodation that we could use as a hub for all our adventures. Museums were informative and plentiful. All in all we had a wonderful trip. "

"The rental price is high and we expected better. Several small lacks of maintenance on the house. We still enjoyed our stay in Halifax but we will not return to this place. "

"We enjoyed a week-long stay at this property in the fun neighborhood of the North End. Close to terrific restaurants, cafes, and bars, an easy walk to the Gardens, the Citadel, and the Waterfront, we found the location quite convenient.
