"Our check in was quick easy. The gentleman working was courteous friendly. The lobby area is quaint, yet very inviting - which was nice to walk into after being on the road for 3 hours. And we loved the indoor pool!!! "

"We loved this place! My sisters and families got together for a small family event. Perfect place for it! Loved that it was close to town, but tucked back into the woods. Bob's Seafood 5 minutes away was wonderful! We went twice! Perfect layout for entertaining with two living spaces separated by kitchen/dining. Property was really clean and thoughtfully furnished. We had a fire one chilly night and watched movies on the HUGE tv. Dina was a great communicator. She answered my questions promptly, before and during the stay. Dina also arranged for a snow plow before our family luncheon due to the storm. She is really on top of things and an excellent host. Easy check in and check out. My family and I would happily stay here again!"

"Our family chose to spend their family Christmas at the Manchester’s Farm for the second year in a row. The size, location and accommodations are perfect. Our children all live in the Windham area and it was easy for them to come for the day. Our grandchildren did have the opportunity to spend some alone time with Mimi and Poppi and they love the farmhouse!Thanks to the Manchester’s for the Christmas tree. It added the perfect touch to our stay."

"Our stay was fine. It’s a nice property. We were there of course during Thanksgiving. We didn’t get to enjoy the lake or anything, but that was fine. There’s a lot of neighbors around so it felt safe. I would definitely stay there again."

"The kids got to swim, jump off a floating platform, kayak & canoe, fish, roast marshmallows by the fire, and help me grill dinner. If any of these is your goal then this is a fantastic place to do it. There's also rentals for boats and jetskis nearby. The swim area is shaded starting in the afternoon. Property also included paddles for the kayaks/canoe as well as the requisite life jackets you'd need to go out. It's shared space, but we didn't have a problem finding a kayak or sharing the fire pit, deck, etc. The fishing was very good for the kids and they caught at least a dozen fish. Ashby was very responsive when we had an issue and got us a solution quickly. As for the downsides: As mentioned in other reviews, it is a tight spot: a small room w/ bed and couch + tiny kitchen + small bathroom, with a really nice screened porch. They gave us very nice airbeds for the kids which worked well. The bed itself was OK but mildly aggravated an existing back problem. Lots of bugs but that is too be expected, and we didn't see any ticks the entire week we were there. Overall fantastic spot. Perfect for us but mileage will vary depending on for what you are looking. "

" This cabin is in such a great location! Steps away from the water with kayaks, floats and paddle boards provided. We even saw a bald eagle soar across the ski while floating in front of the dock! The host Braden was extremely accommodating to us and promptly answered all the questions I had. "

"Great cottage on the water and perfect if you have dogs. There is a spot on the foundation to tie your dog up outside and the deck has a locking gate perfect for kids amd dogs "
