"This is one of the few rentals on VRBO that allows events, and it was perfect for our elopement. We were married on the dock, roasted smores by fire pit, and enjoyed the quiet nights away from civilization. Other perks: the bathroom vanity and heated bathroom, tall mirrored closet in master bedroom that was high enough to hang the wedding dress without it touching the floor, large windows in the family room to view the lake, and fully equipped kitchen. "We love the Koi Story Cabin. We were there for the Cyclone Bomb this year. No electricity for 4 days. The staff was amazing! They had us hooked up to a generator and the fire place kept us warm! We communicated with Elena, Ian and Sergei. They were so helpful and worked with our schedule. A delightful place to stay!"

"The listing says 1/2 bath and true enough, no shower or tub. The door to the 1/2 bath was off the track and unusable until my dad fixed it. The only source of heat is an electric fireplace insert that trips the breaker every hour or so and a free standing space heater that is nearly enough on it's own. "
