STUDIO EG MUGLIN: RENOVATED 1-ROOM FLAT IN THE FORMER MILL OF THE MOUNTAIN VILLAGE OF ARDEZ

Modern comfort in a historic building! The charmingly converted 1-room flat in the former mill of the Engadine mountain village of Ardez is unparalleled. About 10 minutes' walk from the village centre of Ardez, the house is detached and in absolute peace. Enjoy your most beautiful time of the year - your holiday time in Ardez, a typical Engadine village, surrounded by sgrafitto decorated houses, the Swiss National Park, and a skiing, family and hiking offer that is second to none. In the same house there is also a 4.5-room holiday flat and a 1.5-room holiday flat. The three flats can also be rented together, an ideal option for larger families and multi-generational holidays. The owner lives in the 4th flat.

The studio of just under 25m2 is on the ground floor of the former mill of Ardez and was simply and modernly renovated in 2021. The flat is suitable for 1-2 people. The house is in a very quiet location a little outside the village on the little road to the picturesque Ardez-Sur-En, the main filming location in the Schellenursli film, which is only inhabited in summer. A fountain with fresh Engadine water gurgles directly in front of the house. Shopping facilities and the post office are in the village centre (approx. 800m away). Salsiz, Landjäger or Natura Beef meat can be purchased directly from the nearby Naturhof Campell.

Ardez train station is 650 m away and can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. The skiing area Motta Naluns can be reached by car in 5 minutes via Ftan or by train in 10 minutes via Scuol. Ardez has a night cross-country skiing track which can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. The neighbouring village of Ftan also has the 8.5 km long Dario Cologna cross-country ski run. The access road is cleared regularly in winter, but depending on snowfall and road conditions, snow chains or 4×4 drive are an advantage. A pick-up service from the train station can be organised.

In summer, the entire Lower Engadine is ideal for beautiful hikes, whether short or longer. Popular is the hike from Ardez over a suspension bridge to Tarasp and then to Scuol or to the Murtera d'Ardez, another film location in the Schellenursli film. In addition, the Swiss National Park is also nearby.
