"We were really impressed with Wenns. Our apartment had a large bedroom and large lounge area, with a small kitchen. It was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay though we could have easily had a lot more time there. Access was via stairs but easy and there was a door straight onto the street so it wasn't necessary to go through the bar. Conveniently located a few minutes walk from he centre and only about 50 yards from a car park that could be prebooked through NCP. A bonus was a view of the minster from the lounge window. We couldn't have asked for anything more. "

"The olde windmill inn is a great place to stay. The beer garden is lovely with mature tree's and a feel of tranquility. The pub is a lovely old building with lots of character and little nooks to sit in. The food is nice with traditional dishes on the menu and they offer a great cooked breakfast. The staff are so helpful and freindly and really made us feel welcome. The room was really nice , spacious with everything thing you need. We will be staying here again!"

"Amazing size room, lovely big bed. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided. Bathroom a bit dated, but perfectly adequate. I was on the ground floor and the noise from the room above was loud (thin ceilings?) when they were getting ready to go out in the evening, and again in the morning. Lovely leisure facilities."
