"We had a really nice little break as a family, but there were a few things that were a little disappointing given the fact the house appeared on paper to be high end. We arrived with excited kids to find the hot tub was not switched on, so this took 24 hours to heat. A real shame when you only have a short break. "It is a tiny, but wonderful, cottage. It is so homely and ‘liveable’ and the owner, Katie, has obviously tried to provide everything you might need to enjoy a comfortable stay. Even the beds are comfy! It is beautifully clean and well presented; my adult daughter said she would like to live there herself. The main street with a Co-op store, a good selection of eateries and a friendly pub is just a short walk from the door, with the Sherwood Forest craft and visitor centres just a couple of...

"Property was impressive, finished to a high standard, very clean and tidy. Perfect place for a short family break. Close to plenty of days out suitable for kids, went to Yorkshire wildlife park which we would highly recommend too. The garden space and lawn out the front was ample for kids to run around and play."
