"Sadly we were not actually able to stay at the house, I developed asthma a few hours after arriving and had to leave. Unsure what caused it, could be pet or dust or damp or wall heater, but imagine wasn't something most people would run into, girlfriend was fine. Francesco was really lovely and welcoming, the house itself is in a lovely location between Castellamare del Golfo and Scopello, nearby to a nice beach if weather permits. Need a car to access nearby towns. We came in winter so...
