"The owners were very nice and hospitable. The food was delicious. Beds were comfy and we slept so well there. It’s nothing fancy, which was perfect. It was homey and a great stay. So glad we chose to stay here. "

"I made reservations to stay at this hotel, and paid in full, over 2 months in advance. When I arrived at the hotel at 3:30 pm to check in and drop off our bags, they did not have our reservation. I had paper copies, and emails, showing that we had in fact reserved a room. The manager had zero interest in trying to solve the problem and told us he couldn’t help us and there were no rooms available. This was our first day in Europe after an overnight flight from the US. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved walking the paths around the lake and the village. The sound of cowbells and mountain views were wonderful! The apartment is definitely not as new and spacious as it appears in the photos, but was still more than adequate. Host is super nice, - we would stay here again."

"The Zugspitz Lodge was one of the best parts of our trip! It’s a little slice of heaven with beautiful 360 views. The staff was helpful and super accommodating. The lodge was super clean and cozy! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend! "

Cozy Bavarian Experience

"This hotel was like staying with your favorite Bavarian auntie. The common areas were full of history about the hotel. The balcony is open for guest to sit and enjoy the views. The decor was cozy and charming and will always be part of my memories of this trip. Staff was great, breakfast was great. They also had parking. "
