"Room for improvement when it comes to cleaning and maintenance of the property, the Villas were very dusty (remote controls, surfaces, especially floors so your bed linens get contaminated) and toilet paper holder was broken. Towels were stained and ripped, and crunchy/rough (likely hung to dry). Oversight with the toiletries as no hair conditioner provided until the second last night of stay. Some light bulbs were not installed in the lights and just left on the table. Hot water didn't work...

"Lovely property with updated great villas. Loved it! Breakfast great. Pool and lounge area quiet for relaxation before and after beach. We rented a car to explore the whole island including various remote beaches and the mountains which we recommend highly. Maroula and her mother were wonderful hosts and staff was very helpful. Place was immaculate and we would definitely recommend."

"What a great place ! First the pick up at the port was a nice touch. Definitely put the extra mile. The room was nicely decorated. Had a kitchen microwave small fridge. The hot tub was a bonus specially all the walking hiking I’ve done. The location was unbeatable right by the Portara - the main strip and the port. Also soundproof slept like a baby. "

"Fabulous! What a beautiful place Marina and Yiannis have lovingly created. Perched on a little hill just a short walk away from the port and town, Alkionides has breath taking panoramic 360degrees views, so beautiful. Everything was wonderful inside, clean spacious simple and stylish decoration with everything you need. "The apartment was just what we needed – close to everything and only steps away from the port. It wasn’t clear when booking, that the second bed in the room was a mezzanine, but we managed to get used to the staircase. The bars nearby start making a lot of noise at around 11pm until about 2:30am, but we generally slept well. The apartment had a nice big windows so there was a lot of natural light. "Nikos and his wife were the most wonderful hosts!. Nikos picked us at the port and his wife welcomed us with homemade lemonade and explained the town and sites to see. The property is beautiful and spotless. We appreciated the fresh fruits left for us in our room and the homemade bread. We had an amazing vacation and we look forward to coming back. It is also well located. Grocery and bus stop are 5 min walk. On our departure, Nikos dropped us to the ferry. Highly recommend."

"The responsibility for this rating is mostly due to mismanagement by Orbitz. We booked this property months in advance. Upon our arrival the hotel did not know of our booking. I had to call Orbitz, international call charges, to resolve the matter. Since the hotel did not know of our booking they had to scramble to find rooms. We were put in the basement were there was a faint smell of sewage in the halls. This was a Greek vacation, booked months in advance and we were put in the basement!"
