"This property was much bigger than I expected. It was basically an apartment in a building instead of just a hotel room. It had its own kitchen in a separate room, as well as a bathroom completely separate from the bedroom. All 3 locations had doors to close off from the other areas. The only negative about the property was that although it advertises being soundproof, it is very much not. The building is right on a main road with a train that would pass by about every 5 minutes. "Wonderful, quiet location in a charming neighborhood. 30 minutes by tram to the Altstadt. Short walk to a lovely beer garden and ferry to the Pillnitzer Castle. We also loved cycling along the Elbe. For some reason, the access code was sent through Expedia instead of Hotels.com, so you might need to call the hostess before arrival to meet you. She was very gracious and the breakfast was a delight. A wonderful place to experience Dresden in a peaceful, clean, and comfortable environment!"

Dejligt med køleskab og alle køkken nødvendigheder. Stort badeværelse med jævnlig rengøring og med nødvendige brugsting. Fin terrasse med nye møbler. "Das Hotel ist am Rande der Altstadt gelegen. Fußläufig ist daher in Pirna alles gut erreichbar. Ein Tiefgaragenplatz kann separat gebucht werden. Wir würden dies empfehlen. Das Frühstück war gut. Toll gefallen hat uns, dass es während des Aufenthalts eine kostenlose Karte für den ÖPNV mit dazu gab. Daher haben wir das Auto stehen gelassen und sind mit Bus und Bahn zum Wandern gefahren. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder in die Pension Donatus."

"This is a simple pension with a very good restaurant. Breakfasts were quite good but simple. The rooms are bare bones, but if you only need to sleep and shower, it is fine. We visited in August 2022 when the weather was warm (20C), but we do not know how well the room is heated for the winter. "

"Der Weg vom Parkplatz zum Haus ist schön, aber für Behinderte beschwerlich. Im Haus war die Wendeltreppe für mich etwas problematisch. Ansonsten haben wir den Aufenthalt genossen. Alles Notwendige war vorhanden. Im Sommer könnte ich mir einen Aufenthalt in ihrem Haus gut vorstellen."

"Excellent stay! Short tram ride into the hustle and bustle of Dresden. Perfect place for two people (or even three if one wants to sleep on the couch) and the neighborhood was lovely. We love to walk, so it was also easy to take the mile or so walk to the park and enter the City that way. Instructions to check in out wee detailed and easy. Thanks for a fantastic stay!"
