"Family with 20 year old and 17 year old, very walkable to centraal train, and all attractions. Very simple, but plenty to be able to pop in and out in between outings. Comfortable and safe! Host was so kind to go over everything with us at check in, easy to reach! Would highly recommend for any party up to 4!"

"What a wonderful place to stay while visiting my son and daughter-in-law in Amsterdam! Julian’s place is in the De Pujp neighborhood of Amsterdam. Quiet. Quaint. Just outside the noise of the city but within walking distance, a short bike or tram ride. Julien was the perfect host. He made many recommendations of things to do or places to eat. He was attentive and responsive to any needs I might have. I look forward to returning the next time I’m in Amsterdam."

"We spent our last five nights at MercedesB&B. The location was really handy to many attractions in Amsterdam. Isobel was very helpful, and with just a mention she had already ordered our ride to the airport five days later, at no cost to us. Breakfast was included at a lovely restaurant/coffee shop about one block away. Both she and her husband were a wealth of information. I hope we have this same luck getting accommodation when travelling to other destinations."

Johannes, the host, greeted us when we arrived and showed us the room, gave us some tips and recommendations for exploring the area, and made us feel immediately comfortable and welcomed. "We stayed 3 nights with our 10 yr old. We really enjoyed our stay. There are not a lot of recent reviews for this location and some things seem to have been updated. 1) This is an apartment and not a hotel. It has a kitchen and washer/dryer available for use (both of which were very helpful). There is a 2nd bedroom that is locked off and used by the owner's adult son during the day.
