Cottage is very well equipped.
Cottage is very well equipped. Downstairs is compact but has everything you need. Bedroom upstairs is fantastic and bed is very comfy. Location is on a main road but you can’t hear traffic, ideal for touring North York’s Moors and local coastal towns. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Well designed little cottage, making the most of limited space.
Well designed little cottage, making the most of limited space. Fairly well equipped, but a big disappointment was lack of coffee filter/pot/way of making real coffee. Also bread knife which didn't really cut bread. Lovely spacious and comfortable bedroom with plenty of storage. Great to have immediate hot water. Nice outside space-lovely courtyard. Pity it is so close to a busy road. Lots of lovely walks along the coast and inland-plenty to explore. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely little cottage, clean, comfy bed and cosy. Unfortunately the WiFi kept cutting out and the sofa and chair were a bit small and uncomfy but overall a nice little place. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a lovely stay here.
We had a lovely stay here. The garden was relaxing and well maintained. The cottage felt safe, clean and welcoming. It was fairly near a main road but far enough away for the traffic to be not disturbing. The host is a butcher and he does excellent sausages and bacon. Only criticism was that the carpet was a bit worn at the entrance to the kitchen. The cottage is a few miles distant from Scarborough where you can find the nearest supermarket and other amenities - a car needed. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely little cottage very clean and a great welcome pack. Was just off a main road, we are not used to traffic and found it a bit noisy at times, some won't notice it at all.

The accommodation was lovely.
The accommodation was lovely. We were really impressed with the sausages, bacon, bread, jams and butter that were provided for us on our arrival. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed, we chose a cottage that allowed pets as we had our two small dogs with us. The only downside for us was the location, situated on the A171, there are no footpaths, just grass verges on the side of the busy road. The nearest pub is the Falcon Inn which is about 1/2 mile away. That said, if you don’t intend going to the pub on an evening then it’s perfect; situated almost exactly half way between Scarborough and Whitby approx 10 miles away and only 5 miles from Robin Hood’s bay. Would definitely recommend!

Very clean cottage, bed and bedding excellent.
Very clean cottage, bed and bedding excellent. Sausages fabulous. Down stairs toilet a disadvantage. Loose toilet seat a further disadvantage. Parking very good. Window upstairs can be helpful if a quick exit is needed, as different from the fireman’s remarks. Very quiet even though it is near a main road. We did not hear a couple of thunder storms as most did in the area. Falcon pub and Black Smiths arms are nearby with excellent food and ambience. Good holiday venue.
