The Space:
The Garden Flat is a bright and stylish holiday apartment. You’ll be welcomed into a spacious living area. Perfect for relaxing with your loved one, this space is both comfortable and sophisticated.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area is fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware so you can really make the most of your self-catering stay. You’ll also find a wooden dining table with four chairs.
The bedroom features a double bed boasting premium bed linens and plush bedding to ensure you have the best sleep possible.
Modern and clean, the apartment’s bathroom has a bathtub with overhead shower, a WC and a basin.
Head outside and you’ll discover a back garden of which the top terrace is exclusively for our guests to use. This terrace is gravelled and has potted plants, whilst also catching the sun all afternoon until early evening making it the perfect spot to relax on the seating provided. Turn right out of the back gate and it is only a ten minute walk to the seafront!
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
We provide a parking scratch card for your stay which gives you free on street parking in the 3L zones in Scarborough.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the seaside town of Scarborough, The Garden Flat is a short walk to all of the attractions. Packed with seaside charm, you’ll find plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to discover as well as arcades and ice cream parlours.
There are a number of beaches for you to choose from. The popular South Bay is a sun trap and close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. North Bay has been accredited with Blue Flag status meaning it’s one of the best beaches in Europe! Cayton Bay is the quietest of the three and boasts a sweeping bay with a rural feel. Lastly Cornelian Bay is the remotest and hardest to get to but it’s a hidden gem and often empty.
Ideal for all weathers, there are lots of indoor attractions in Scarborough for the whole family. Head to Sea Life Sanctuary to see seals, penguins, sharks, turtles and more or Scarborough Castle to explore its 3000 year history. If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a short 20 minute walk from the house where you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. There is also the Sky Trail Adventure and Peasholm Park nearby.
Getting Around:
The Garden Flat is within walking distance of Scarborough town centre and within 1 hours’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey.
Scarborough Train Station is a short 15 minute walk away and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, Liverpool and Sheffield.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby.
