"My wife and I stayed for two nights. House is tiny, but was large enough for us. Everything was clean and neat. Setting was quite private: we could see a couple of houses, but rarely heard any voices or saw anyone. Spent hours outside just enjoying the quiet yard. Easy to recommend!"

"Great location as it was a very short drive into town and to the grocery store. Some steep turns and roads to get to the house but once we got there, we really enjoyed the screened in porch and the space in general. Carole was quick to respond to the one question we had and the checkout process was simple with clear instructions. Thanks for the hospitality!"

"We had a small window of opportunity for a trip to Highlands, NC. I found The Zen Den on VRBO and the description met what we needed. The owner gave perfect directions on how to get to our location (the gps would have never got us there) and had turned the heat on before our arrival. The place was very clean and comfortable. The cooking situation was very limited but for our short stay it was fine. For two people and a short stay the Zen Den was perfect!"

"The location is beautiful. The house was clean. kayaking and canoeing on the lake was amazing. Also rented a boat one morning to tour the tree beautiful waterfalls on the lake. The only issue would have been parking, however the owner was very accommodating. It's best if your able to park your vehicle inside the garage. Great lake front location with beautiful towns nearby."

"Loved the vibe, comfort and coziness of Holly’s apt. The place looks recently renovated and was well provisioned. It was very quiet and peaceful.. Only had 2 days, but would have liked to stay longer."

"So, I booked our room back in September, October of 2021. Between then and when our trip was, the property changed owners. Apparently, there was a bit of a mixup with the booking and the whole lodge was booked for a reunion. We get there to check in, and not only do they still accommodate us, despite the mixup, they gave us an upgrade for no extra charge. We were staying for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled with everything. We will definitely visit again in the future."
