Secluded Tropical Paradise with Pool
Our lush hillside Jungle retreat overlooks the North River valley with panoramic views from the mountains down to the ocean. It's less than a 3 minute walk into town and 5 minutes walk to the beach. The house is tucked away off the street & surrounded by lush foliage making it secluded yet minutes from everything! The main house has 2 large bedrooms both with A/C in the rooms and a full bathroom in between the 2. An open aired palapa on the second level with built in couches, kitchen, hammock , half bath and dining area is outdoor living at its best!! We have a 7 person max for guests at the home. Any extra guests without consent will be $75 a night P/P. Our open poolside palapa has a king size bed , table and 2 chairs and full bath room. The pool is a dipping pool-not a full size-but great to jump in and cool off. We are in a local neighborhood which is a mix of locals , expats and renters- its very welcoming and safe and close to everything. Please note: Sayulita is a hilly town-our property does not have any hills to climb, but the driveway is short and relatively steep, if you have trouble walking up a hill please keep this in mind. We offer parking with our rental and you will need specific directions on how to get to the parking spot. The property is generally quiet- but you will hear everyday sounds such as Roosters crowing what we love about this town. This is a pet friendly rental but we must be notified if you are bringing animals to the house beforehand. There is an extra $50 cleaning fee for each pet. The house rental includes fresh drinking water and a fully stocked kitchen. In Season ( Nov-May ) we have a 5 night minimum to book.

Wonderful stay, romantic and perfect for couples
Just came home from our 8 days in Sayulita. The home as we walked in was magical! All the pictures are spot on! Open air palapa is where we spent alot of our time, sipping tequila and enjoying each others company. The kitchen was well stocked but the restaurant choices in town, just a 5 minute walk away was too good to pass up! It was too cold in December for the dipping pool but it was perfect for putting our feet in after a day walking in town. We went during the 12 days of Christmas which they celebrate ALL NIGHT LONG! lol My only negative was not on the home but the noise. If you are noise sensitive when you sleep, bring earplugs. Thank you Amanda. Your communication with us was always helpful!
Centrally located. Easy walk to town. Fantastic grounds appreciated the dipping pool. Well-stocked kitchen. Convenient market down the driveway. Sounds of nature are abundant.
Great house - well stocked - great location- only negative would be if u stay in the “jungalow” bring ear plugs - the birds and chickens are relentless

Not totally bad but definitely not good.
The positives, the bedrooms sleep very well, are very quiet at night and the palapa area above is enjoyable.
The negatives, the place is in need of maintenance and Amanda is not receptive to a call about issues. These issues included showerheads clogged and one ruptured, the shower drain and bathroom sink were clogged, igniters for the stove and oven do not work, the water dispener needs to be replaced (I mentioned that I watched a youtube and cleaned it best I could myself to the owners boyfriend due to us both becoming sick, he then acknowledged he was aware of this and had tried to unclog it by running a wire through it, that's sanitary! ) I had contacted Amanda the day of check in to locate the property and during that conversation she made it clear to contact Jorge if there was a problem, sort of in a tone of don't bother me. After having what I felt like were too many issues for a house at this price, I contacted Amanda directly on the 5th or 6th day because the house keepers had come but left us with no clean towels and no toilet paper and we were without both. She then proceeded to make it very clear that the washer was off limits and then said something about having our 2 golden retrievers there. Even though the place is listed as pet friendly and I had called her before booking to make sure there were no issues bringing them.
If you do come with your dog, be careful, the neighbor's dog is extremely aggressive and came after ours many times and bit one of them.
She also reminded me that I was in Mexico, I have been coming here for a few weeks a year for many years and have stayed at over a dozen places. She has only owned here for over a year and has a tone that you should be very grateful for allowing you the privilege to pay to stay at her house. Also, as another reviewer has mentioned, the pictures are not very accurate. The swimming pool is far smaller in person and does not get sunlight.

Tropical oasis!
We loved our stay at Casa Amancer! I brought 8 friends to celebrate my birthday and we just had the best time! The property is adorable and secluded, it had everything we needed, and the pool was a life saver! The additional casita was so cute and perfect for couples. Amanda and Jorge were accessible for any questions we had and made us feel at home. The walk into town and the beach is only 5 minutes. We enjoyed watching the thunderstorm from the protected, open main palapa. My artist friend couldn't get over all the bright colors and prints used to decorate, as well as the intricate tile mosaics in all the bathrooms!
Overall, we loved our stay in Sayulita and at Casa Amancer. We hope to return some day.

Paradise delivered
Everything the place promised to be, it was. The views never got exhausting. And there was always a helpful hand close by if we needed something or had small issues.
Amanda was the most attentive host and really went out of her way to assure we had a great time. Thank you

Wonderful spot!
This is by far the coolest house my family of 4 (including two teenagers) has ever rented. It is outdoor living at its best and we loved it. The house has everything you need including bottled water service, beach towels, a/c in two bedrooms (but the ceiling fans were all we needed) and the best high speed internet. The house is an easy 5 minute stroll to town/beach but far enough away from the crowds/noise. Just hanging out in the open air living room/kitchen feels like vacation. The owners were super easy to work with as well. Very cool spot.

The video and pix are enhanced. Not at all what was advertised. It was still nice location
The pool is really a soaking tub-4 people max. Area around pool is about 5 ft square. The pool did not work when we arrived and it took 2 days to fix and then the pump broke again 2 days later. The bathroom amenities were half-empty bottles of unmarked 'stuff' in rusted bottles. There were smashed bug remains on counters and on the floor. No place for clothes-no hangers in closet and shelves were very dusty. We received housekeeping due to staying 7 days. This consisted of throwing out trash and making beds. No fresh towels or bedding. We could do our own laundry, which we did. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. AC in the 2 ground floor rooms was fantastic.

Great location!
Great location for easy walking into Sayulita; no hills to navigate like the other homes. The house is clean, safe and has great amenities. The house manager was so helpful and friendly. This is a true gem in Sayulita! We will be back!
