"This eco-friendly hotel is located on Lagoon Petenchel and surrounded by beautiful rain forest. It’s about one hour away from Tikal Mayan ruins and about 20 minutes away from Flores island. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We recommend staying at the Hotel Villa Maya. "

"The property is beautiful. It's a hidden gem in an area that is not developed yet. It's not on the island of flores but it is walkable distance (if you don't mind walking) or it's a short cab ride. The staff was courteous and very professional. I was always greeted with a smile. All the staff members I interacted with always went above and beyond to assist me. I was amazed by the quality of the service. My room was clean, beds were comfortable. The reataurant on site was good. I honestly have no complaints, all my needs were met and considering the rating I was pleasantly surprised. The site and the room were as pictured. I highly recommend this place. "

"We had an overall excellent stay at Hotel del Patio. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the amenities were top-notch. However, we encountered some challenges with early check-in. Since we traveled for a medical procedure, having early access to the room for the patient to rest would have been ideal. While we understand policies can vary, greater flexibility in this area would significantly enhance the experience for guests in similar circumstances. Despite this, our stay was pleasant, and we would gladly return."

"I loved the pool area and the location was perfect on the small island. Had a little difficulty finding the entrance. Parking was safe, they have a parking lot in the back that is opened and closed by staff, must request to have it opened. Staff came by every morning to tidy up the room, which was super nice to come back to. The entrance and doors get locked at a certain time, my brothers almost got locked out for the night. Would definitely go back, staff was incredibly friendly."

"Such a cool places conveniently located on flores island. Everything is within walking distance. Cool shops, bars and dining options within blocks of this place. 24 front desk help. Friendly staff and just an over beautiful area. I couldn't believe my view from the 2nd story balcony with a hammock hanging. The lake is like 10-15 feet from your balcony. Super cool place"

"Great hotel. Showers are really powerful and the room was really clean. Part of the terrace was being repainted but nonetheless the outlook was beautiful. We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food. "
