Nice but small
It’s a nicely converted double garage next to owners house. It’s clean and nice and little place to sit outside. But sofa is a little duble one so not really for 2 people to be comfortable, my husband spent holidays on the floor. And no grass in the garden-pebbles, so makes a noice when you come out in the evening

Small enclosed garden at the back. Everything needed for a short stay, about 30 minutes drive from the beautiful Suffolk coast and 10 minutes from Framlingham castle.

Compact and comfortable accommodation, much enhanced by private garden area and french doors opening on to it, ideal for hot weather. A good location for exploring a large part of east Suffolk.

Very clean & welcoming. Our only issue was the bed was not as comfortable as we hoped - found slat to be broken.

Touring around Suffolk
We had a terrific stay. We found the cottage to be clean, cozy and a perfect base for touring around the area. The area is peaceful but well located. We stayed with our dog and there were plenty of walks and dog friendly pubs and cafes in the area. The enclosed garden was perfect place for a cuppa in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. We would stay here again.

Barn owls, bikes and bridleways!
This little cottage was a delightful find and suited us perfectly, as we wanted somewhere quiet and out of the way, where we could walk, cycle and do some birdwatching, but also near to Saxmundham, where we have relatives. Set in the hamlet of Bruisyard, the cottage overlooks a barley field, where we watched swallows and swifts darting and diving - and one morning, a barn owl skirting the edge of the field! There are quiet lanes to cycle along and lots of footpaths and bridleways to explore. We were warmly welcomed by Sonia, our host who was most helpful, particularly in finding us somewhere to store our bikes. The cottage itself is small but compact, and was spotlessly clean, containing everything we needed. Both living room and bedroom open out onto a little enclosed courtyard where we enjoyed sitting out drinking coffee in the evening. We would certainly recommend Bruisyard and the Suffolk countryside to anyone wanting a quiet few days away and hope to return ourselves in the future.

Away from it all!
Fri 6th-Mon 9th Feb. No ‘photoshop’ required for this property! It is just as the photos show, extremely clean, full equipped, cute, cosy & a perfect little get away. Waking up to sunshine streaming into the bedroom, a picture perfect view over the fields from the kitchen window & a light & airy lounge looking out over a small but adequate paved/gravelled garden perfect for the dog. A variety of walks available straight from the door. Various places of interest only a short drive away including Framlingham, The Maltings at Snape, the RSPB at Minsmere, Thorpeness, Aldeburgh & Southwold. Easily could have stayed a few more days. Wished we had booked longer! Thoroughly recommend this cottage.

First Visit to Suffolk
We had not visited Suffolk before and were keen to explore the coastline. For that purpose the cottage was very well sited. Southwold, Orford and Aldeburgh were all a fairly short drive away. The cottage was cosy, comfy, well equipped and with open fields just over the road a paradise for our Spaniel, Woody.

Sonia the owner and her friendly dog greeted us on arrival and were very welcoming. The cottage was light and airy with tasteful furnishings, very comfortable firm mattress, good black out curtains which aided great sleep. Good hand held, overhead shower and bath facilities. The place was quiet, cosy, had a well equipped kitchen supplied with guest package of milk, tea, coffee, sugar and lovely biscuits. The private garden was a sun trap, had high secure fence, great for my rescue dog Nigel. Well located for dog walks, to explore surrounding areas and amenities were nearby. We had a brilliant stay, thank you Sonia for your warm hospitality. Moi, Mark and Nigel.

Country retreat
Nice compact accomadation. Every thing we needed was available. However we like a firm bed but found this bed extremely hard even with a topper on, so we cut our stay short. The owner was away so to be fair we didn't ask if anything could be done to improve it

Dog friendly cottage
We booked the cottage for the Spring Bank Holiday weekend for ourselves and our dog. We were not disappointed. It was perfect for our needs; light and airy with an enclosed patio garden. It was really clean with everything we needed in the kitchen and a very large bathroom. The nearest pub which has a lovely garden and is completely dog friendly was 1 mile away. There were lots of footpaths nearby for dog walking and we had a long walk around Southwold and walked from Dunwich to Sizewell and back. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you Sonia for the cookies!
