"The property was clean and well stocked. The mountain views from the porch and interior (including the shower!) were great. The host was very responsive and accommodating. It is quite a walk from the downtown and train station, but nice and quiet. Highly recommended!"

"No space to move. Shower cubicle encrusted with grime, basin without hot water, no toilet paper. Nobody available to assist with anything. Guests are given a contact number, but get hung up on if they ring it. On the plus side, the bed was reasonably comfortable. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else."

Apartment was very spacious, clean, had some thoughtful touches and had all the things you need. It looks better when you are there. Host was attentive, friendly and very helpful. We had a slight issue with the key safe but it was resolved in speedy time. Definitely would recommend. 5* slight"

"Communication with the property manager was very timely and the check in instructions were easy to follow and allowed easy entry when we arrived late in the evening. The managers made a point to meet with us in person the next day to answer any questions. The location is PERFECT, right by the trains and gondolas. The home was clean and well furnished with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in Grindelwald!!!"

"Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! "

"We went to Jungfraojoch for the day and stayed overnight. The apartment was clean with good amenities. Also the benefit of a store downstairs and plenty of things within walking distance. Check in was easy and the underground parking secure. Guy was very helpful in communication with all our needs."

"We spent 10 wonderful days staying at Chalet Barbara. The chalet is very clean and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. The stunning views are worth the walk up the steep hill and the hosts who live upstairs were friendly and helpful taking us to and from the station at the beginning and end of our stay so we didn’t have to struggle with luggage. "This place was nice to stay in interlaken. Close you interlaken west station, close to markets. Interlaken is not a big town so you can walk everywhere if you have your stay booked in interlaken. Because its a self check in there is no one in the front desk to get service. If you need extra service such as towels, you would need to talk to people in the morning around 10am when they are here to clean rooms."
