"Ana and Esther were so lovely and friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and safe ! I was given an extra 1.5 hrs to check out due to my flight time. The view of the water and mountains is beautiful & the garden of the property is lovely The room was spacious and had been Renovated. There is a communal kitchen to use which is an added bonus ! Savusavu town is ok with lots of restaurants offering local, Indian and Chinese type foods. I do prefer basic Fijian food - for one night it was fine - next time I will cook myself I recommend this property to anyone, especially a woman travelling alone as you will feel very safe here ! "Nice resort that offers a lot of activities every day. I liked walking around the property and discovering new things. They had an herbal walk and showed me all the medicinal plants that Fijians used instead of medication. The staff is really nice and accommodating. They also offer free shuttle from Savusavu and Labassa airport. The massage was also good. "

"This property is a pure gem. It was truly as the name suggests, -Tropical Splendour. It might best be described as rain forest meets beach.The property is lush with beautiful vegetation, sweet smelling flowers and a virtually private beach. Walks on the beach yielded only a very odd passerby. We mostly had it to ourselves .The cottage is SO uniquely decorated with Fijian art and artifacts. We felt totally immersed in the culture. Alex and Avi are wonderful hosts, offering help and information where required, while respecting privacy.The pool was amazing and we were in it morning, noon and night. We were able to view the Southern Cross while taking a nightly dip in the pool before bed.The bed was wonderful! Listening to the ocean crash the shore from its comfort, was zen like. It is very warm during the day, but we did not need the air conditioning at night, as temps cooled down beautifully. This allowed the beautiful sound of the ocean to lull us to sleep each night.The entire unit was well equipped. The kitchen housed all needed utensils, the furniture on the porch was comfortable and well enjoyed for afternoon naps.Sunsets on the beach are remarkable!We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and fabulous travel experience. It is truly magnificent!"

"We had such a great time in the Pod House. It was the rainy season and yet we got to go snorkeling, and cruising with Jen and Bruce to a sand bar for even more snorkeling. We felt like the Pod House, which is SO comfortable (including the bed, which is important to me) was our home by the end of our two-week stay. Great views, great location, on-site massages by Viri. We'll cherish our memories!"

"Sawasi is a magical place, with such a beautiful natural setting with lots of "secret paths", rock outcroppings on the ocean shore, canals to kayak on, exotic birds and bats flying at dusk, beautiful flowers, amazing food, wonderful people! We stayed on Serenity, an old refurbished cruise ship. Nice experience but the Serenity could benefit from an upgrade (carpets, etc). The bed was very comfortable, sheets, towels, high quality. We had a great time and rated it 5 stars. "

"It was simple, clean. The staff is fantastic. Only thing id change is that id update the cigarette burned toilet seat and small table. Owners are lovely, (i totally put my foot in my mouth when i said koro is my fave! Yikes) The food was delicious and peggy couldnt have nbeen a better person. I came here to be with my dying father,, and the compassion and empathy that i was shown was so wonderful. "
