"NB At the moment, there are road works in front of the hotel, so access is by foot only. Complimentary parking at the rear of the hotel was available. The lady in Reception who checked us in was very friendly and efficient. Our room had recently been renovated, as had the sauna, the bed was very comfortable, though the room’s furniture, mottled grey leather sofas, were unexpected and quite un-Scandic. "Huone piti saada käyttöön 15.00, mutta huone oli valmis vasta 16.00. "Vastaanotto" ei ollut avoinna, vaan jouduimme soitella huoneemme perään. Vierailumme aikana oli kova helle, +30 astetta, jolloin huoneessa oli tukala olla ja lähes mahdotonta nukkua. Huone oli siisti ja viihtyisä."

"Savonlinna Rentals is modern and spotlessly tidy throughout. It’s very close to the Savonlinna train station. It has fast WIFI and a good number of bathrooms (shared). Lastly it is relatively inexpensive. I would definitely stay again."

"This is the first time that I have stayed here. It is a lovely hotel and is only a ten minute walk to the centre. The choices at breakfast are really good. There is no kettle in the room but there is one in the communal lounge area where there is also a microwave. There is an ABC garage across the road and it has a cafe and a small supermarket the cakes here are amazing. In the centre there is the tourist information centre, two supermarkets (S Market and K Market) and there is also a Marimekko...

"This property was wonderful and accommodating so we could eat on the sight or use a full kitchen. Sauna was private and a dip in the lake was possible. Very nice."
