Located near Duras in Lot et Garonne, this delightful cottage is one of three houses on a property of 2.4 hectares, La Fleur de Savignac. Dating from 1706, the cottage has a living room, bedroom and bathroom. Old fashioned charm is combined with contemporary comfort. You can relax by the 10 x 5 metre swimming pool, and enjoy a barbeque or game of petanque. There is an outside dining area. The property is private and quiet, with beautiful views. You will hear bird song and church bells.

There is a double bed and a baby cot in the bedroom, plus a fold out couch in the living room which can sleep an adult or child.
The small kitchen has a gas cook top, microwave/grill and fridge. Kitchen equipment includes a Nespresso machine and a cafeiére. The TV offers French, English and Dutch stations. There is 4G Wifi, with a download speed of between 5 - 12 mbps, depending on where you are located.

La Fleur de Savignac is located three kilometres from the historic town of Duras - you can glimpse the 13th century chateau in the distance. There are good restaurants and you can shop there. There are numerous country markets in the area, including the Saturday market at St Foy Le Grand, feted as the "best market in France". You can also visit wineries, take walks, do kayaking, horse-riding and many other activities. You will need a car, and on site parking is provided.

Savignac de Duras is on the border of Lot et Garonne in South West France, close to Perigord and Gironde. The town of Duras is three kilometres (one mile) away; Sainte Foy le Grande is 19 kilometres (11 miles), while Sainte Émilion and Bergerac are both 40 kilometres (24 miles).

To make the most of the area you will need a car, and on site parking is provided.

- The pool is shared with the three bedroom gite next door.
- The washing machine is also shared, and there is an individual clothes drying rack.
- Children are to be supervised at all times while on the property and are the responsibility of the adult guests.
- Only paying guests are permitted to use the facilities.
- No smoking inside the premises.
- No parties or large events permitted.

PLEASE NOTE: The French government requires us to collect the passport information of international visitors. You will be asked to supply this as part of the check-in procedure. The information is held securely and deleted after 6 months, according to GDPR requirements.
