Today the King-Tisdell Cottage serves as a black culture museum. Among other things, the museum interprets Savannah and the neighboring sea islands with an emphasis on the contributions and roles of African-Americans to the region's rich history. The museum contains many interesting artifacts, including a bill of sale for slaves which was written in Arabic by plantation slaves.](https://mediaim.expedia.com/destination/2/426aa97afcb7c844927ddf7660e92354.jpg?impolicy=fcrop&w=350&h=192&q=medium)
