Located off of the beaten path and within walking distance to essentially everything the Historic District offers, Rue Garden is an inviting and charming rental for your Savannah stay. Stepping into the living space, guests have an ample amount of plush seating, where they can gather together at the end of the day and catch up on their favorite shows. The living room sofa also converts into a queen sleeper sofa for additional accommodations.

At the back of the home, boasting with natural light from your windows that overlook the courtyard, step right into the fully equipped kitchen. The elevated, and spacious kitchen features all of the modern conveniences one could wish for. You'll have everything you need during your stay, which makes this an exceptionally convenient spot to call home… even just for a few days!

Overall, the property was excellent for our purposes. We were there to sightsee and enjoy Savannah. The property itself had a musty smell when we entered. Perhaps because the kitchen was built where the porch was. The surroundings were dark. The living room furniture was very worn and dingy. We found the bedroom to be comfortable. They had a beautiful courtyard outback.But, it was overgrown with moss. There was furniture out there, but not clean enough to sit out on. But, as I said we were not there that much.goneenjoy

Quaint and close to everything
The place was very clean and close to everything. If you obtain the tour pass online the bus stop is very close and you can hop on and off which was nice going to Riverwalk. There is a large refrigerator with crush and cubed ice from the front door and a nice oven. We will return to this VRBO townhome again. The hosts are very responsive before, during and after your stay. I am a former VRBO host in the Georgia mountains for many years.

Simply Adorable
We loved this sweet little apartment. It was beautifully decorated and the wood work/brickwork throughout the apartment was stunning. This cute little place was conveniently located near many restaurants and a Trolly Route.

Great stay!
We enjoyed our stay. Great historical place and easy access to riverfront and Forsyth Park about 10 blocks either way. Loads of restaurants, pubs, and things you can do without driving. Only downside was no hairdryer, both doors need to be repaired for easier closing and staying closed otherwise it was a marvelous place to stay. Still totally recommend it 😊

Absolutely Perfect!
This is a great place to stay for a quick weekend trip! It is close enough to walk to River Street. (1/2 mile) so many local resturants to walk to or a short drive. I read many reviews complaining about the tub draining slowly but didnt have any issue. Also, there were complaints about the construction but that wasnt an issue either being it was a weekend. Clean, Great Location, but disappointing overall
Although the space was clean and the location was close to everything that we wanted to do, the walls were very thin. We stayed Thur-Sun. Thursday night is sounded like 2 toddlers chasing each other, and was woke up to little cars being drove across their floor. Then on Friday & Saturday nights they had house parties. I could probably recite Strawberry wine in my sleep. The next morning we got to hear about this guy talking about the huge dump that he just took in the toilet. I thought this rental was supposed to be 25 and older only and I certainly didn't think I would have to be up all night to the noise of house parties. Very Disappointed and we will not stay here again.

Great location
This place is conveniently located within walking distance to many desirable areas of Savannah. The home was clean and matched the description of the website. The check-in/out process was easy and communication with the rental company was respectful with quick responses. Just a couple things that were off: we requested late check-out but I guess that was not communicated to the people hired to clean so that was a little awkward when they arrived and we were still in the home. The second is there was no soap in bathroom yet shampoo/conditioner was available--small things that were easily rectified. Overall, great place to stay.

Inside was so quaint and charming. Living area relaxing to read a good book. Tub was a little slow to drain, but excellent water pressure. Loved its own parking space. And being on bottom floor, bed was firm to hubbys liking. We love Savannah

If you’re willing to walk 20 minutes you don’t need a car. We walked to The Grey for Sunday brunch, Andrew Low house, Green Mildren house, Leopold’s Ice Cream, B&D Burgers, City Market, Chippewa square where they filmed Forest Gump, The Olde Pink House, Zunzi Bar, Trolly Tours, and more. Perfect for a couple. A little cramped for three. Our daughter slept on the sofa bed but had to enter our room to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and woke us up.

Large construction project that has been ongoing for months next door. Property Manager should have informed us of that, so that we could have chosen a different property. Large machinery and masonry saw noises were constant. Was woken to the noise, each morning between 7am and 7:15am.

Everything as previously said, clean, safe, good location,walk everywhere. All good with the property. However, received a communication from the agent informing us, in the name of “transparency “,that there would be renovation work in the adjacent property, so expect daytime noise. I thought the timing was slightly unfortunate cos it’s a day after the full refund deadline. Because it’s a weekday rental and there were plenty other available properties within the vicinity, I asked whether full refund or discount was available. The agent forwarded the “small prints” of terms and condition to me and said “no”. I thought that’s unfortunate and it’s probably next door having some decorations done on that day and the owner/agent was just being notified. Opon arrival, couldn’t help noticing that a whole apartment block/complex next door is being constructed, with the groundwork almost completed. It’s unlikely they started the work 2 weeks prior to my arrival unless they were supermen. So I thought “transparency” might mean they couldn’t see it ! To the construction company’s credit and perhaps my luck, no work was being done during our stay so no noise whatsoever. However, judging by the size of the project, I’d be surprised if they would finish it in 18 months/2 years. All in all, nice quiet property in a nice location. I’d recommend it.
