So happy we found this place. The room has everything you need to feel at home and is very clean. It’s an easy walk to the riverfront area and a variety of restaurants.
We loved our stay at The Present. The area around the hotel was clean and quiet, and everything we wanted to see and do was only a 15 minute walk in any direction. There are no staff, or front desk... everything is done through text which was ok with us. Any questions that we had were answered via text within minutes. One of the most unique places we've stayed at.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
A very affordable option with bare bones accommodations. Reminiscent of an industrial loft environment.
I like boutique hotels and this certainly qualifies. It is quirky and has character. Shame on me for not reading the fine print as this is not an elevator building ... and our being in our early 70's and on a 10 day total trip we had more packed than might have been ideal for a third floor room.
Having said that if we would certainly come back for a long weekend.
Charming boutique hotel in walkable distance to the main town. Street parking that you have to pay for during the day. We were given a 3rd floor room and there are no elevators which isn’t ideal but we made it work. For the price it made sense. It was clean and cozy.

Liked: Cleanliness
the room was large enough but there was no where to put our small carry-on bags or unoack them. A tiny haging rod, no drawers, no table or hooks for anything.
The room had a lot of character; loved the old fireplace. And the neighborhood seemed charming.
We had no interaction with any staff member - but it wasn't necessary.
The bed was very comfy and we would stay again!
Beautiful spacious and quiet. I felt like I was in the guest house of someone's property, not a hotel. The kitchenette with martini glasses, shaker, wine glasses, cork screw.. unique and appreciated. Keurig with stoneware mugs and proper metal spoons a nice touch as well. I would highly recommend and will definitely be booking here again for my next visit.
This place was so cute and I’m so happy I stumbled upon it. I’m sick of large chain hotels and this was so refreshing. Sadly I only get to Savannah once a year but i will certainly be back. The rooms are big with tall ceilings. The bathrooms are clean and modern. There’s no hotel staff so not having a desk clerk takes the personal out of it but it’s not a bad trade off for such a nice place to stay.
The property has no staff on site and parki g is all on the street. All check in and into the rooms is by text or email of the codes. It was a great room, just a unique set up. The location was great, close enought to walk to boughton street and right next to a square.
Nice and comfy inside. Room was a little smaller than expected. Checking in and out through the web and not having to deal with an actual person was different. Using a code to get in your room and the hotel was different also, but easy to do. Would stay there again.
