They stay was fantasic and close to everything. It was so quaint and beautiful!
Only negative was the amount of stairs a handicap access would be great for those who need it.
We were on a “Girl’s Trip” for our 50th birthdays. There were 4 of us staying at the house. We really enjoyed the house, and it was perfect for what we needed.
This was the perfect place for my besties bachelorette trip! It's so central to everything, and there was plenty of room for all of us. We will definitely be coming back for next time!
We stayed here for a wedding that was in Savannah. The place offers comfortable beds, nicely appointed kitchen with lots of room. The only downside is there is only a sofa in the living area so if you have more than 3 people you have to sit on kitchen bench or stools. But everywhere we wanted to go to was within a mile or less so we walked everywhere. Enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.
If you have a larger group, then this property is incomparable to traditional hotel options. Being able to stay together in a beautiful space with all the conveniences of home literally steps away from Forsyth Park and all that Savannah is famous. With ample parking and simple as can be check-in/check-out process there is nothing to not like about your stay here.
Lovely, well kept place, good location, easy checkin and checkout process. Parking was ample and easy on our street, able to walk to forsyth park easily and quickly. I wished there was more seating in the little living room area, but lots of room and seating everywhere else.
We enjoyed our trip to Savannah while staying here! The proximity to a grocery store (Kroger) and Forsyth Park was amazing. (Our first morning, we walked the short distance to the park for breakfast at Collin’s Quarter followed by grab and go drinks to sip on while we walked around enjoying the scenery - one of my favorite moments of the trip!) Floors are super creaky/loud, it’s not overly clean or nice, but has everything you need. We spent some time enjoying the front porch area shared with the downstairs unit, ride share was easy to and from river street. Overall, nothing special but it fit our needs perfectly.
This was a great place to stay in Savannah. It was blocks from Forsyth park, which is a perfect starting point for exploring the city and history of Savannah. We loved the house! Very comfortable with all the needed amenities, plus a few others. We loved all the information that was available to us about Savannah. We highly reccomend!
We had a wonderful stay in Savannah. Unit B was clean, spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Although we did not do any cooking, the kitchen is well appointed. The host is very responsive. Only one recommendation, the unit has three bedrooms and a sleeper sofa, it appears to accommodate up to 8 people. There should be more seating in the living room. We had one couch that seats 3 people.
Loved the space! 6 women that had plenty of room! Hot water held up great!! Enjoyed the spacious dining and kitchen area. Easy to Uber downtown-I am not able to walk very far due to a heart condition but certainly close enough for younger people!
Girls weekend, not looking for bar scene so this location was perfect. Away from the noise and only 4 blocks away from Forsythe Park. We walked everywhere and did not feel the location was too far for us. Easy walk to Kroger and Dollar Tree. The house itself more than met our needs. 4 of us were comfortable especially with 2 bathrooms. If you're into TV you might not appreciate the small one in the living room but we were not there to watch TV. We visited in April and temps were generally cool, only turned heat on once. Good experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the spring. The house was clean, close to a grocery store, a fabulous coffee/bakery shop (Maté Factor) and within walking distance to all of downtown. Parking on the street was easy and we never had any issues finding a spot near the front of the house. The TV is small, but we didn’t really come to Savannah to watch TV so it wasn’t a big issue for us. We would stay here again.
Clean and beautiful, but will test your leg strength
We loved our visit and the house was beautiful with everything we needed. Convenient location in downtown and enough information about things in the area we needed. As someone else noted, there are a lot of stairs so “moving in” and “moving out” was a bit of a struggle if you have older members or small children. That was our only downfall, but our legs got a good workout 😉
This was a cute apartment on one side of an older home. We are a family of 6 and we had plenty of room for sleeping. Just small living room space. The place needs a few things fixed/updated. But overall a good stay.
There were 6 women on this trip and we felt safe and secure in this neighborhood. The rental was clean and exactly as listed in Vrbo. The only thing I recommend is checking the floor for nails sticking up. I stepped on 2 that need to be nailed down. Other than that the place was perfect.
House worked for the purposes of our trip. One suggestion would be to get a bigger tv. They are relatively inexpensive and would make a big difference. The television was very small and could barely be seen from the kitchen table.
Overall, very happy with this home! It has character while also having modern amenities. Master bedroom is very spacious, and the other two rooms are a nice size as well. The bathroom light burned out the day we checked in, but the host was quick to respond to my message and had a handyman come and fix it within a half hour.
Early morning train came by one of the days, but not a deal breaker for us. The TV in the living space is on the smaller side, in case that is important to you. Also wish there was more seating in the living room (4 person, long couch).
My wife and I celebrated a vow renewal and myself and my groomsmen stayed here. Space was clean and spacious. We had no issues at all and was an overall great experience.
One downside though and not a big one. We were there the weekend of college football championship games and the television was somewhat small and made for game watching intimate lol. On a positive note, no one goes to Savannah to watch TV and the spacious front porch and quiet street made for better interaction that sitting around a TV so perhaps it's smallness wasn't a downside but an actual blessing in disguise.
