Spacious garden and house, even for 5 of us and the house could have still been comfortable with more people. Great location, close to shops etc., but still a quiet location surrounded by sunflowers. "We had two lovely week holiday at The Chai and cannot fault anything. Anne and her husband are the perfect hosts-friendly, welcoming and happy to provide ideas and advice for places to visit. They were always available but never intrusive. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was spotlessly clean. We loved the pool (it was an ideal temperature) and the plentiful children's games were a bonus. The garden was perfect for the children to play in too, enclosed and lots of space for them to run around. Have to mention the views and the beautiful sunsets as well! Highly recommend a stay here. "

"We arrived to a lovely welcome by Malcolm. The pictures were very accurate. The farmhouse was beautiful and rustic. The views were gorgeous. We had everything we needed for a group family stay. Shops weren’t too far away. Thank you Malcom it was fab. "

"We stayed for a week, 2 families (4 afults and 3 children), driving from the UK. A car is essential for exploring the area. We spent days by the pool, visited St Emilion (busy, beutiful, but get there early for easier parking - free roadside as you drive into the village). There isnt any air con, but 3 of the rooms are downstairs, which makes them very cool."

"Reception Hours are not 24/7, have to allow for this, would be better if we could have had the entry codes sent prior had to call to get in the door, but ok for a one night stay"

"I stayed here with my mum during our roadtrip through France. We only stayed here one night and arrived in the evening, so didn't get to enjoy much time there. However the house was stunning and the room was beautiful and comfortable. We were very tired and were happy to be able to recharge. The bed was comfortable and my mum was happy to be able to have a bath. Amit (sorry if I've spelt that wrong) was lovely and a wonderful host. He gave advice on where to eat dinner and offered to cook us up a breakfast the next morning. We don't like to eat too much when we are travelling so declined - though still had the usual fare (toast and jam etc.). The surrounding area was beautiful and we would have enjoyed exploring it more. However we were on a tight schedule and had to leave promptly. "
