Mauldin Creek Cabin - June Special - Free Round of Mini-Golf

This beautiful log cabin is stocked with entertainment including card games, board games, puzzles and a DVD library. Boredom is not an option at Mauldin Creek Cabin!

June Special - One guest will receive a Free Round of Mini-Golf at the Bavarian Mountain Miniature Golf and Arcade Center when two or more play! The June Special is valid for reservations with an arrival date by June 30, 2024. Valid for One Free Round for One Person per Reservation. Remember to mention that you would like to participate in our "June Free Round" special in guest comments or notes when booking online. The coupon will be sent to your email address as soon as we have all requested info and the reservation is paid in full.

Downstairs you will find an open living room, kitchen, dining table and stools at the kitchen counter. The kitchen is filled with all the cookware and dinnerware you will need for your stay. Besides the full size appliances, there is a microwave, blender, standard drip coffee maker and a toaster. Cozy up around the wood-burning fireplace and watch a movie on the television. Just off the kitchen is the laundry room with a washer and dryer. Next to this is a full bath with a tub/shower combination. Then walk into the master queen bedroom and back out to the living room. Upstairs is a double bed and a twin with another bath.

Outside you can BBQ at your own outdoor charcoal grill and picnic area. Mauldin Creek Cabin is located just a few miles out of downtown Helen in the Sautee Valley. This beautiful area of North East Georgia is known for its many hiking and mountain biking trails, scenic waterfalls, wineries and, of course, the Old Sautee Store. It was a perfect little getaway to relax and unwind will definitely recommend and or be back myself .just a side note it is is hard to find of the grid (but I liked that) but should recommend people have 4 wheel drive to get down the road .also your maintenance man was wonderful he came out on Saturday to fix our tv and was a lovely gentleman

Private and secluded
This is an adorable secluded cabin that allows you to enjoy, relax and unplug in nature. Location is ideal for anything you want to do. Hiking was on our list and there is so many options that it’s hard to choose. The Georgia Scenic Byway is equally as beautiful as the Blue Ridge Parkway if not better. We will definitely be back here again. Hopefully soon.

Loved this little two bedroom/2 bath cabin with three beds. Loved the back porch and hot tub. Loved the seclusion. Also loved the fire pit. The only drawback was the ice maker chute did not work. Ice was made, but the chute was not working.

Great location
Easy to find directions were perfect. Loved the location private but not too far from everything. Dollar General within 2-3 miles, even a great thrift store only 2 miles away. Hot tub was very relaxing after a long day walking in the town of Helen, GA. The bed wasn't very comfortable could use a new mattress. And the smell of something dead in the kitchen was a little gross. In which we didn't find what it was until the morning we were leaving and pulled the trash bag out to tie it up and discovered a dead mouse in the bottom of the trash can. Communication with property managers were great except I couldn't respond to emails they sent to me.

This property is really private. We loved that. Cabin well stocked and had everything we needed. Loved all the decor.Bed was comfy.wifi not all that great. Loved walking down to stream.I do however think cabin needs a professional deep cleaning. windows very dirty and porch needed cleaning. The hot tub was fantastic

Weekend Getaway
The cabin itself was nice and the hot tub made it worth it. Beware of the steep stairs because my girlfriend slipped on one of the steps that was missing the grip strip and she fell down the whole flight. Once we got over the fear of being deep in the woods and all the scary noises, it was worth it. A good weekend getaway, definitely recommend the Nacoochee Ziplining down the road!

A few things in kitchen were missing that I would have liked available. No colander, no rubber ware containers, no salt and pepper. Basic necessities should be available for guests. The clean was not done well visible dust on baseboards, corners and the logs on the wall. Our overall experience was good.

Solitude in a Real Log Cabin Under the Constant Serenade of Babbling Creek
Isolated on what I estimate to be a five-acre wooded lot, this real log cabin offers cozy privacy. A 100' trail from the front porch leads you to a 7-foot-wide natural creek where water rushes over a full-width stone creating a constant, low-volume waterfall sound at the cabin. You can relax to the sound while roasting marshmallows in the fire pit surrounded with outdoor chairs. Or while rocking in the chairs on the large covered porch. Dinner? If you enjoy cooking, you have a fully stocked kitchen, gas range/stove or two outdoor grills from which to choose. If you enjoy a cozy fire, you also have a large stone hearth and a real fire place. We found ample firewood provided by property management. The hot tub under the covered porch seemed extra large. It was ready to go and a great feature. Of course, the cabin is only a few miles from the Alpine-village themed, tourist friendly Helen, GA. A great stroll, with shopping and lots of restaurants. Around Christmas, all of central Helen is beautifully lit and worth a trip for that alone. Other great places to shop and dine can be found in Sautee Village and Nacoochee Village. Near a large park forest, Chatahoochee river, and only 30 minutes from a large lake, there are plenty of outdoor activities. 1:40 from Atlanta, we also used the cabin as a home base for trips to Zoo Atlanta and the Georgia Aquarium. If you need TV, be prepared to ask for help. There were 5 remotes, so it will be pretty hard to figure out on your own. If it is windy, open the glass doors at the fire place before going to bed. They rattled a few times per night when the wind was at it's peak. Vegetarians may need a little time to adjust to Carl - the head of a grand elk inside, mounted on the stone chimney and keeping constant watch over the bed in the loft area. Nevertheless, the overall vibe was cozy, mountain luxury in this unexpectedly spacious and private retreat.
