"Another great week watching the wildlife, family of wild pigs wandering about the lake edge and a good chat to the fish farm worker as to how things worked. Would recommend this his site to anyone who loves nature. Great little restaurant in St Micheal de Brenne for a lunch time meal as well."

"We had a wonderful holiday in this spacious gite. The pool was a big hit with the children and a perfect escape from the heat ! The location is set in acres of stunning scenery, yet you aren’t far from bakeries, butchers and supermarkets etc.. Local wine and produce is very good value and Relais Routiers close to the gite were superb for lunch, 4 courses including wine for just €13. "Old farmhouse beautifully renovated stays cool in summer. The owners are very nice and helpful. Friendly red cat will beg for pets when you arrive. We also loved the heated swimming pool!"

"Beautiful authenthic house in Brenne located next du Maison du Parc of the Brenne nature reserve were walks into the reserve start. Lot of lakes were birds and other animals thrive. The house has everything you need and a magnificent garden. Our dogs also liked it. For the kids the area got a bit boring after a couple of days of walking and birding as most lakes were private so we bought stuff were they could play with in the garden. The house was the old donkey house and is nicely restored....

"Janet and Chris were very welcoming and the property was clean, nice decor and well furnished, an ideal size for a couple or even with a child. It was a great base to explore a part of France that we were unfamiliar with and our dog was well catered for with nice walks in the area and also from the cottage."

"Lovely property with super friendly helpful host nearby. We were disappointed the local lake was closed for swimming at the time but there were 2 pools in nearby villages. "
