"This was a return trip for our girls weekend and most certainly will return again! Owners so gracious and easy to communicate with! Cabin filled with home-like touches, comfortable bedrooms, numerous kitchen essentials, large TV, fireplace for those cool temps, and a deck with beautiful lake views for kicking back and relaxing! We used for our base home to explore Alex & surrounding areas. Enjoyed wineries, breweries, thrift store shopping, and many great eating places! Would totally recommend...

"We loved so many aspects of this cabin. The many gathering spaces made it enjoyable for our family. Large refrigerator and lots of cookware/dishes. The mattress in our bed was a little uncomfortable, plus the cushions in the screened porch were flat. Otherwise, a great place to stay! "

They have a lovely little play area for the kids to play in & the yard game were awesome! Being able to fish on the dock and lay out on the sun was great. Everything was just wonderful at this resort. That is the uptight of staying at every Resort and Less busy!"

"Beautiful cabin/lake feel. We were in desperate need of some rest and reset after the death of my husband’s father and this did exactly that! The morning sunrises are stunning and the seagulls or white ducks as we laughing called them made for picturesque moments. Thank you for sharing!"

"Two besties met halfway for a girls weekend. Close to Alexandria and all it has to offer. The Boathouse was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed an evening on the deck with the beautiful fall colors on the lake. Host was available by phone and let me know that by a phone call before I checked in. Everything was easy and I would not hesitate to book again. In fact my friend even said we need to do this again. "
