Bicycles are available at the house to explore town and surroundings. The Chain Ferry is 3/4 mile with immediate access to Oval Beach.

Over all it is a great rental very nice place with a great storyline about when and how the home was built. Would highly recommend the house. We had a family wedding in the area and our entire family was able to stay in one place.

I liked the size of this property. There was enough space for my family of 10. Kids loved the big yard. I didn't like all the insects/critters inside the house. The house felt abandoned.

Nice old house
Group of friends stayed here when we all were in town for a wedding. Place was clean and the host communicated well. There was a nice fire started when we arrived. It's a nice cozy house to stay in, has a lot of character.

Great Stay for the Halloween Parade
We stayed here one night for the Douglas Halloween Parade and we absolutely loved the house! It is a unique and cozy place that is well kept and has so many cool little nooks and small living areas throughout. The check-in process was extremely easy. Would definitely consider staying here again!

This home is nicelt furnished, clean and neat. Its close to.town and it is in a quiet neighborhood. Biking would be easy from the house and close to many wineries. Loved oir stay.

This place is a gem. The history of this location, the energy, the rooms all have a distinct feel of home. Communication with the owner was seamless and very receptive. I only stayed one night but I am looking forward to booking a week stay. Such a wonderful place to stay.

Great house in Saugatuck
Although our stay was short as we were in town for 1 night for a wedding, this house was amazing. From the charm of the place to the art and the amazing back yard, I see how this home is a great spot for a full weekend or vacation in Saugatuck. Will definitely consider booking again if I have a group of friends looking to stay again.

We had a wonderful visit to this home. Great backyard with a beautiful fire pit and plenty of yard games. The house has so many interesting areas to explore with unique art, books and antiques. The owner was very easy to communicate with. We would love to come back!!

Nice place
this was only our second house rental ever and wasn't really sure what to expect. The host responded to all my questions and e everything was ready for us when we got there. The pictures don't do the property justice at all. Very charming property with lots of history. More then ample glassware, dishes, cookware, towels etc. Due to winter weather didn't use patio/outdoor space, but that would just be an added bonus. Glad we found this place!

Beautiful home - amazing outdoor deck and fire pit!
Beautiful, clean home within a mile of downtown Saugatuck. Beds were super comfy! Used the gas grill on the deck. Outdoor fire pit was huge and plenty of firewood provided. Home had gorgeous artwork and antiques. A real treat to stay here. We will return!

Everything was perfect. Came in on a cold rainy day with a fire already started! The host responded quickly and even stopped by later in the evening when we were having issues trying to figure out the TV. He was very accommodating letting us have a late check out and an early check-in if we wanted. Would recommend and do it all again!
