"The property was located in a great spot. Very quiet and clean. The communal kitchen was great if you wanted to save some money on food. We ate at the harbour restaurant next door, highly recommend! "

"Beautiful and well appointed. Loved the huge communal area. Makes up for the small sleeping rooms. We spent the evening playing cards and then watched a movie. At 1AM the sunset was STUNNING. RED SKY across 180 degrees of the horizon lighting up all the snow capped mountains. Thank you for sharing your space with us. We were supposed to get an email about our room number before 14:00 but someone forgot. We had to take the keys left on the counter and open all three rooms in order to find our room. We are 4 people so it was not difficult. Just wanted to tell you we had to do that. Instructions were there for another party but not for us. We figured it out."

"The hotel has a comfortable, “local” feel. Staff are friendly and very attentive. The dinner service was great. The menu was one where they have a small number of choices but everything is fresh and beautifully cooked. Breakfast options were varied and delicious and healthy."

"The guesthouse was lovely, well laid out with the shared kitchen, dinning area and entertainment area. Heaps of space, rooms are clean and very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and shared areas! There is a huge area on the accommodation location to explore to see sheep and Icelandic horses next to a lake! Me and my husband had a good afternoon doing that once we settled into our rooms. Would recommend to others 👍"

"Authentic cabins. Walking distance to a restaurant. Cabins are quiet. Warm. Decent value for money. The handler gave us an option to chose a larger cabin when we arrived."

"Getting to the guesthouse was a bumpy ride, be careful midway as there is a big difference in elevation, our suv most definitely hit the ground pretty hard. Other than this instance, the host was sweet and greeted me and gave me a tour for the guesthouse. The room was quaint and the facilities were clean. There is a hot tub in the back but i wasn’t able to check it out, though it wouldve been nice if I wasnt so tired. Would recommend! :)"
