Although the room decor may not be appealing they make up for it with daily cleaning good friendly customer services & they provide free coffee soft drinks ice cream all day long & free delicious ramen every night from 2130-2300 hrs. "Such a beautiful village. Kurashiki is the highlight of our family’s trip to Japan. Ivy Square is also very beautiful and one can spend the whole afternoon in its courtyard. The standard guestroom is standard Japanese sized…small but sufficient. The staff are very friendly. "

"Beautiful new hotel with modern design. It’s convenient to the station and it’s a short walk to the Bikan district. Everything was excellent, but I marked down one star on ‘comfort’ because the pillows are painfully hard. They are a hybrid Japanese pellet stuffing on one side and Western fiberfill on the other. Neither side was comfortable. "
