"We spent a week here and went out everyday sightseeing and to different beaches, with lots of walks! Kamilari has a nice feeling about it, very friendly locals, some great Tavernas and a very well stocked supermarket. Not forgetting The Blues bar for cocktails! Vangelis and Tanya are really lovely people and the house was perfect Tanya even made me a birthday cake for my 60th!!"

"A very charming small hotel. The hotel was an old olive oil producing village that fell into ruin. Each of the rooms has been renovated from small workers cottages to a charming standard. It is such a lovely, quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle. The pool is idyllic, the only criticism would be that I think it should be adults only. The ambience was somewhat spoilt when there was a couple with a baby who was crying by the pool and had the parents speak baby talk which ruined the quiet setting, the hotel is much better suited as an adults only due to its quiet nature. Food was excellent, breakfast choice is vast and evening meals were always excellent albeit on the pricier side, but we ate there every night. The hotel is a bit isolated away from the main tourist areas but that suited us down to the ground to be somewhere quiet. We would return. "

From a lovely cooked meal for our arrival as we were late to the package of local goodies and home made cake and also booking recommended restaurant, nothing was too much trouble. "I cannot impress upon people how idillic this villa is. It is set near a very small village with peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The villa itself has all the amenities one would require, and the inside is is fabulous condition. There was a maid service twice a week and she did a marvelous job keeping the 5 star villa clean and today. Highly recommend this place for anyone planning a holiday to Crete. "
