"Amazing little hotel in a small German town. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Food was excellent and at a good value. Beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, but had a great view from the balcony. Everything else was excellent. "

"Beautiful forest surrounding the hotel. The facilities are adequate but dated. Found out only at checkout that I could only pay cash. I had to drive to a nearby town to an ATM. If I had been in a rush to get somewhere it would have been even more disappointing. Food was good."

"Very quiet place to stay that is not too far away. We didn't use the outside hot tub. Sauna or shower but we did enjoy the eagle in the pen in the back yard. Michael was very helpful with our trip to Germany. You should stay here."

"Wir haben 2 Wochen Sommerurlaub im Fichtelgebirgshaus verbracht. Die Ruhe und Nähe zum Wald entsprach genau unseren Erwartungen. Von hier aus kann man wandern, Radfahren, zum Baden an den romantischen Fichtelsee oder Nagelsee fahren. Früh 3km zum Bäcker, ein privater Metzger wohnt in der Nachbarschaft. Der hat top Fleisch und Würste zum Grillen. Das Ferienhaus ist für 5 Personen ausgelegt, wobei es mit 5 Erwachsenen eng wird. Aber für Familien mit 2 oder 3 Kindern optimal. Die Ausstattung weist...
