We are 70 but got allocated a room at the furthest end of a very long corridor far away from the only lift maybe as weren't members of Toyoko Hotel chain (maybe more thought from staff re that but could just be the auto computer allocation?) Breakfast was included but when we went down it was so packed with people there were not enough seats too small a dining room so skipped it & bought sandwiches at 7-11. "I booked this hotel at a pretty good value. I wasn't expecting much, but if this was the price range of Daiwa hotels in other Prefectures, and if the quality is consistent then I'd definitely keep booking! First of all, the hotel seems pretty new, or at least recently renovated. Interiors are modern & up to date. Staff are friendly & helpful. "I like the hotel. Very clean and cosy. Their workers were all friendly, polite and nice. Very satisfied. Only thing I would ask for would be the lotion. I wish they had little lotion packs included in their aminity. Weather is dry now, so I went out to get mine, but if they had in the bathroom, that would have been nice. 😊"

"Located in a rural area that is close to some beautiful natural sights. A short drive from the UNESCO heritage site (old growth beech forest). We came in early November and were a bit late for the peak fall colours, but there were still plenty of vibrant orange and yellow leaves. Hotel itself is showing its age, but they keep the rooms very clean. Kind and courteous staff made us feel welcomed. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet nature escape."

"Quiet area, right next to the coast and the Akita tower (which is free to visit at anytime, even at night when the shops close). Supermarket right next door. This area is more suburban, but still a handful of small restaurants nearby. 10 to 15 minute walk from Tsuchizaki train station. Not walkable from downtown Akita. You need to take the train or bus to get to Akita, but the train is very convenient. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of options even if you are vegetarian. Less options if you are...

"禁煙室がもう満室で、仕方なく喫煙室をとりました。大失敗でした。喫煙室のタバコの匂いが半端無く最悪で気分悪くなりました。フロア全体がタバコのケミカルの匂いがして、お部屋の中ではバスタオルまで染み込んでました。普段悪いレビュー書きませんが、これは必ず書いた方がいいと思いました。おすすめしません。"

"Good size hotel room but too far from the Akita Station to walk. However the taxi was easy to catch and cost less than 1,000 Yen; if traffic is good, the meter does not even jump and remains at 690 Yen."
